Jongwoo stirred in his sleep, a gentle tap rousing him from his slumber. As he slowly opened his eyes, the warm morning light filtering through the curtains, he turned his head to meet the gaze of his girlfriend. Her expression was a mix of concern and accusation as she asked him, "Are you drunk?"

Confusion clouded Jongwoo's features as he struggled to process her question. "What? No," he replied, his voice laced with bewilderment.

A flicker of frustration flashed across his girlfriend's face, her voice tinged with disbelief. "You're a lie. You drank a whole bottle of wine last night, the one I had just bought!" Her words carried a sharp edge, a hint of anger seeping into her tone.

Jongwoo's gaze dropped to the empty wine bottle resting on the nightstand, a silent testament to the events of the previous evening. Memories began to resurface, fragments of blurred images and muffled sounds weaving together in his mind.

As the reality of his actions settled in, a wave of regret washed over him. He realized the impact of his impulsive decision, the disappointment reflected in his girlfriend's eyes fueling a sense of remorse. With a heavy sigh, he braced himself for the looming conversation, knowing that he had a lot to explain and even more to make amends for.

His girlfriend let out a heavy sigh "well one of your bosses or coworkers are waiting outside for you he's been there for like 10 minutes, just go get him off our property" Jongwoo jolted up "What co worker?" His girlfriend shrugged "Some black haired man I don't know"

Jongwoo felt a mix of curiosity and unease as he gathered himself in the bathroom. The news of an unexpected co-worker waiting for him outside weighed on his mind as he splashed water on his face, trying to shake off the grogginess from his sudden awakening. The reflection in the mirror revealed a slight stubble on his chin, a reminder that he hadn't had the chance to properly groom himself yet.

With a sense of urgency, he hurriedly grabbed a fresh set of clothes from his wardrobe, opting for a crisp shirt and dark jeans. As he buttoned-up his shirt, his fingers lingered on the pocket knife sitting on the cabinet shelf. Instinctively, he slid it into his pocket, the weight of the tool offering a small sense of reassurance.

Exiting the bathroom, he took a moment to check his appearance in the mirror once more. Content with his more presentable look, Jongwoo gave himself a firm nod before stepping out of the door. The early morning light greeted him as he made his way towards the unfamiliar visitor waiting outside, his mind still searching for answers about this mysterious black-haired man mentioned by his girlfriend.

Jongwoo cast a wary glance at the sleek black car parked before him. The vehicle's exterior exuded an air of ordinary, lacking the telltale signs of opulence or extravagance. Speculations began to swirl in his mind, pondering on the identity of the potential occupant. Could it be a colleague from work, perhaps? With a sense of curiosity tugging at his thoughts, Jongwoo approached the car and lightly rapped on the window pane, prompting a wary "hello?" to escape his lips.

To his surprise, the window glided down, revealing the familiar face of Yoo Gi-hyeok. Jongwoo's brow arched inquisitively as he processed the encounter. "You're late for work," Yoo Gi-hyeok pointed out bluntly, his voice laced with a hint of authority. Unfazed, Jongwoo countered, "Well, I had planned on taking the day off." His intentions firm, he started to turn away, only to halt abruptly as Yoo Gi-hyeok interjected with a warning tone.

"Can't, boss is already ticked off your on then ice" The implications of his employer's displeasure loomed ominously, pushing Jongwoo to consent reluctantly. "Fine," he relented with a resigned sigh, agreeing to spend the day under Yoo Gi-hyeok's wing. The promise of a timely return to the workplace shrouded the unusual arrangement in a semblance of normalcy.
