21. Some things never change

All around the LaRusso house was splashes of pink and blue. Tory and Sam surprisingly helping each other out, carrying flowers together, while Trixie sat on a stool. Like the outsider she really was. Robby noticing Trixies disarray and walking over to her. "Oh god, don't look too excited" He said making her frown disappear.

Grabbing her hand as she sat up from the stool and the two interlocked hands. His thumb lightly soothing her. As the two trailed after Miguel. Mostly everyone was scattered around the kitchen. The teens engaging in small talk. As Robby's arm had moved to Trixies waist whilst she leaned into him. It was obvious she felt out of sorts, but he just wanted her to feel comfortable.

Carmen, Amanda, Miguel's Abuela and Chozen on the other end of the kitchen. When a loud noise went off startling the group, their heads snapping towards the direction. As Johnny slowly strolled in with light pink stains on his shirt as Carmen's gasps filled the silence. "The package came early" The curly haired women said walking closer to Johnny. "Guess it's a girl" Johnny said opening his arms widely.

"I cant wait to meet her, and her to meet her dad" Carmen said as she hugged Johnny. When Robby let go of the blonde as he made his way over to his dad. "I'm a girl dad, you're a girl brother" Johnny said as Robby's face had the brightest most genuine smile, while the son and father hugged.

Happiness and laughter could be felt in the air as Robby hugged Trixie. When Amanda realized Daniel wasn't here. Suddenly Daniel walked into the kitchen absolutely drenched in hot pink dye. Everyone's jaw dropping as the group broke out into laughter. Besides Daniel, of course. "I told him not to move" Johnny said with a hint of sarcasm. "I'm too old for this shit" Daniel said. As the laughter continued to roar.

Later that day at training Sam, Tory, and Trixie were practicing kata in a staggered line. Trixie having a hard time understanding how silly meditations could help her. But keeping her mouth shut as she aimlessly followed Sam. Trixie noticing Gemma in the corner of her eye. The two not purposely drifting apart since the whole Silver incident. But she missed her best friend so she signaled her to come over and join them three.

Gemma making her way over as Johnny approached now group of four. "All right, all right. You got the kata down. Let's see you use it. LaRusso, Nichols, step out" Johnny said as Trixie rolled her eyes as her and Gemma stepped off the mat. Sam and Tory getting into their fighting stances. "Ready? Fight!" Johnny yelled as the two merely just stood there.

Tory throwing a weak punch and kick that Sam barely had to move to dodge. "Come on, fight" Johnny said loudly. Sam throwing a swing and a miss kick. "What is this ice capades? That's enough, you two fighting stances." Johnny said sick of the embarrassingly weak fighting. "Guess the bonsai badass has lost her edge" Trixie said to Gemma making her snort out a laugh. "You wanna say that to my face" Sam said turning her direction too the girls.

"Gladly" Trixie said as she stepped onto the mat and inches closer to Sam. "The bonsai badass isn't so bad anymore" Trixie said as a vein began to bulge in Samantha's forehead. Before Samantha could spit out a rebuttal Johnny grabbed Trixie by the arm. Pulling her away from the group. "And you three, stationary front punches!" He said as the remaining girls sighed.

"What the hell, Johnny. Shouldn't you be kissing Daniels ass?" Trixie snarled. "What- No if anything, LaRussos kissing my ass" He said offend. "Yeah, totally. That's why we're at MIYAGI- DO right now" Trixie said rolling her eyes. "Anyways- you gotta cut that 'I don't need anyone', lone wolf bullshit. You're not Sams competitor" Johnny said. "Seriously, that's what you think. I'm only here because of Robby. I could give less of a shit about all of this zen bull. I've kicked Samanthas ass before, don't think I'll hesitate to do so again" Trixie said as his eyes widened.
