The Airplane Ride

Darcy's POV

After over an hour of trying to put our belongings through security. I was next in line to be checked for any weapons. I walked up into the weird security thingy, I obviously had no types of metal on me so I made it through. We were only waiting on Tommo now. He stepped into the machine and it suddenly went off causing everyone to look at him. Tommo looked horrified they searched his pockets and clothes. They found a piece of tinfoil in his back pocket. We all laughed like crazy. I checked my phone time. We had to hurry. Our plane was leaving in 15 minutes. We all bolted down the isle ways. I was tempted to go stand on the moving isle but we had no time. We'd have to do it in Florida. We made it just in time to just walk onto the plane. There weren't many seats left. Kat and Hunter got a seat together, me and Tommo were across the isle together. You know how in every plane there is that one obnoxious child. That's who I get to set next to. She was loosing her mind when the plane took off. She was sobbing, kicking the seat, screaming her lungs out, and wouldn't stop. About a half an hour later the most horrendous thing happened. She threw up. Everywhere. It was all over my jeans, shirt, backpack, seat, her mom, and the floor. Tommo was laughing his arse off. We used around 2 thousand napkins to finally wipe up all the puke but the smell still stayed in the air.

"I am so very sorry, she's never done this on a plane." Her mom told me. I shrugged. She looked like she was in her early 20's, maybe even still a teen.

"It's fine, I have a younger brother and he'd be the same way on planes." I told her.

"Kids are fun," she sarcastically said. "I had her when I was 16." She laughed.

"Wow," was all I could think of. I didn't know what else to say.

"My parents also had me at a young age. I still feel slightly bad about ruining their lives." I laughed. She kinda laughed along.

"I was scared at first and I felt like my life was ruined but once she was born, she made my life ten times better." She told me.

I looked out the window, it was getting dark. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Tommo's POV

I stared at her sleeping. She was adorable. She wasn't snoring, she was just breathing to a rhythm. I soon fell asleep after her.

"We should be landing in about fifteen minutes." The flight attendant announced over the PA making us all wake up. I pulled out some gum and handed a piece to Darcy. My stomach dropped as the plane was moving downwards. We finally hit the ground. We waited until we were told that we could stand up and get our things. I grabbed my sling backpack and walked out of the plane with Darcy. We waited for Kat and Hunter to get off then we grabbed our stuff. We were finally in Florida, our adventure was just starting.
