Everyone rushed into the main foyer seeing Henry sit a girl down she had long light brown hair that had highlights in it wearing a light grey tank with a black one underneath and a black blazer with blue jeans the ends flareing out with a belt around her waist while he bag rested on the ground and boots but what faith noticed was the girls eyes and facial features she shared with Henry making her eyes widen.
'she looks like Henry but how unless...she is his daughter ' faith thought to her self putting the pieces together with wide eyes.
" Darling Henry What's going on"glennis asked as she stood by her fiance with the others around them just as the girl pulls out an old picture of Henry.
Henry sees the picture of him with his shirt shaggy style hair wearing a white shirt with a that was taken of him when he was younger with a City behind him as he was in a different country.
"Where the devil did you get this" he asked in shock.
"From Libby"the girl says with a soft smile.
"That figure you met on a camel"glennis in shock remembering him telling her about his girlfriend / fiance before her.
"Libby"Faith says to her self as she looks at the girls then back at Henry before remembering the story that he told them.
'wait if she is his daughter that is 17 then that means 'fiath thought to her self as she smiles softly knowing why the girl is here.
"Why would Libby give this to you"Henry asked the girl.
"She thought I'd want to know what my father looked like my name is Daphne Reynolds I'm Libby's daughter"the girl says introducing herself as Daphne shocking everyone.
'i was right 'faith says in her head as they all watch her pull out a piece of paper from her bag showing it's a birth certificate.
"According to this... I'm your daughter too "Daphne says.
"Oh for heaven's sake!"glennis says with a gas holding her head in shock.
"Seems you had an even better time in Morocco then you let on"chrissa says making her mother clear at her as she held a hand on her chest.
"I haven't --"Henry says before looking to his mother then back to the piece of paper as he stutters then looking back at Daphne who knows her head smiling.
He then looks at the paper again the shakes his head" no this is impossible must be a mistake"he says making faith and Daphne frown.
"Exactly a mistake a piece of paper doesn't prove anything this woman Levy must have written down the first man she could think of"glennis says with a fake smile.
"Actually mom a birth certificate is legal truth the only other way to really see would be a DNA test but I think this birth certificate is proof enough plus she has his eyes too"Faith says before glennis and her sister glares at her while Daphne smiles appreciating for someone standing up for her.
"Thank you and as far as I know you're the only man she's ever thought of "Daphne says.
"Right after I have a talk with faith I would like to have a word with you in private for a moment Henry "glennis says making fear swell within faith.
She noticed Henry actually considering what her daughter and this girl Daphne says "Henry? You're not going to believe her or faith are you" she asked with a fake smile.
Daphne then stands up "maybe I... Maybe I should have come this is a big shock for you and I know I'm freaking out and I've known since I was 2 don't get me wrong I mean in a good way I've dreamed about this my whole life well not that exact entrance of course I imagine something more graceful I can see now that it was probably a mistake I shouldn't have come "she says with a frown before picking up her bag as started walking away before she was stopped by Henry as they followed her through a door into a room to the main entrance.
"Sorry did you just say you've known about this your whole life "Henry says making Daphne stop as she turns around to face him.
"Yeah"she says nodding her head.
"Good now we've got that settled... How about some tea and a piece of fruit cake"Henry's mother says.
"But your mother didn't feel I deserve the same consideration"Henry says.
"Go to The fruitcake then"his mother says.
"How could she keep this from me?!"Henry says completely upset.
"Excuse me what happened to the mistake there we were operating on a moment ago"glennis brings up with a fake smile making faith shake her head at how her mother was being.
Daphne then started walking to the door before she was stopped by Henry's mother this time.
"No wait a minute ducky Henry I know this has come as a shock but we can't just let the girl go at least not till we got to the bottom of this" his mother says making faith smile.
"Shall I call a hotel madam"the butler asked Henry's mother.
"And tell them what exactly the best known candidates in a generation is requesting a room for a teenage girl depressed will have a field day" glennis says rubbing a hand on Henry's shoulder.
"Can we leave the press out of this "Henry says stressed.
"No one is absolutely right"Henrys mom says.
"Thank God someone else is thinking straight"glennis says in relief.
"The girl must stay here with us"Henry's mom says making faith and Daphne smile while glennis and chrissa looked bothered by the idea.
After the whole fiasco faith was shown in her grand decorative bedroom sitting in front of her vanity and she used some makeup to hide the forming bruise on her cheek where her mother slapped her remembering what happened.
*Flashback*
Before glennis went to talk to Henry she pulled faith aside as the others walked away before grabbing her daughter harshly body arm and hits her daughter across the face making faith drop to the ground with fear holding her face looking up at her mother.
"You will never do something like that again do you hear me"glennis says harshly making faith nod her head.
"Good now go cover that up"glennis says before walking away fixing her outfit as faith let's tears slide down her face.
*Flashback ends*
She stares at her reflection with tears in her eyes "why can't I be loved"she says to her self as a tears slide down her face before she sniffles wiping away her tears smearing her makeup before she replies makeup covering up her bruise on her cheek.
