ACT 0: Prologue

"Alicia...Please....!-"

"I LOVE YA AMI!! TAKE CARE!! I'LL GET TONS OF PHOTOS FOR THE GAME WHEN I GET BACK!"

I'd close the door on my younger sister as I slide into my car, close the door and blast off towards my destination: The Amoona Manor! My sister and I are both game developers, specifically horror developers! I'm the more ambitious of the two of us so I'm usually the one responding to business emails. Now for some context, recently...We got an email telling us about a cool secret 'haunted' mansion that we could make a game out of. Now...under normal circumstances...I'd stay home and continue to make games with me and my sister Ami as this seems super sketchy...HOWEVER! We were both paid TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS TO EXPLORE AND MAKE A GAME OUT OF IT!! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY THAT IS?! ITS NUTS!! OF COURSE I'D DO THAT?! I'D FIGHT THE GRIM REAPER ITSELF IF IT MEANT WE GOT THAT MONEY!

"Eugh...It's dark out here...maybe going at night wasn't a good idea...whatever."

I'd look around for the Manor as I turn my headlights on. Eventually, after seemingly hours of driving, a big manor with five whole stories would appear in my view...Bingo!

"That's it! Alright I got my wallet...camera...thermal water bottle...notepad...Where the hell is my phone? I could've swore I grabbed it.....whatever."

I'd roll my eyes as I step outside my car and stare at the Manor...This thing really is huge...it even has a hedge maze up here...it's so big that I could easily get lost if I didn't bring my notepad with me...I wrote down the instructions for how to get in! I'm so responsible...

"Alright. Let's move!"

I'd make my way through the hedge maze, taking time to take pictures of the interior and overall feel of the maze...This'll make AMAZING CONTENT!!!

I'd finally arrive to the manor as I stare...This place is HUGE!! And it looks really good for a 'Haunted Manor'...

"Alright...This should take thirty minutes max..."

I'd feel the walls as I open the door...it's smooth, well-kept wood...which is weird for a HAUNTED house...maybe the spirits that reside here are tidy in here or something...

As I crack the door open, a breeze of cold air would hit my face as I shiver...maybe the cold breeze outside is hitting some fans or something...

"Yello? Spirits? This is a nice house y'all got!"

I'd smile and laugh to myself, knowing I probably sounded insane I quickly stopped laughing as I began to look around, taking pictures of the house as I go along....

"Maybe I should've brought a jacket..."

I'd pout as I take a seat on a fancy chair near the dining room...

I'd yawn as I get ready to stand up when something would catch my eye...

"Is that....a bracelet?"

I'd walk up to the table of the dining room as I tilt my head...It's a beautiful bracelet...a diamond one by the looks of it too...a beautiful diamond bracelet.....I felt almost...drawn to it in a way? Like it was calling me...

"...Did some reporter forget their bracelet...?"

As I got closer to it, I'd begin to hear whispers around me...my head began to pound...my legs began to feel weak...my arms feeling heavy...yet I couldn't stop myself...I wanted-...no...I NEEDED to get the bracelet...

"Maybe...I'll just....hold onto it...I'll bring it back home and make it an Easter Egg....yeah...I'll do that...."

I'd finally reach a distance at which I was able to grab the bracelet from. As I clenched into the bracelet, my entire world would seemingly disappear around me...I'd look around as my vision gets blurry...

"NGHH.....?"

I'd hold my head, it began to pound intensely...It hurts...so much....My wrist would begin to sting as well...when I looked down, I saw the bracelet on my wrist...Had I...subconsciously put it on?

"....What is this......?"

"A new host. Let's see how well this one works out."

My head would begin pounding more as a distorted voice speaks out to me...it sounded feminine....

"Nghh.......What is...happening?!?"

"Shhhh...We will become one soon....I shall heal you...Alicia..."

How...did she know my name.....?...My eyesight would begin to blur even further as everything began to fade to black.....

"You shall help me escape. I must get my revenge...."

"I........"

Everything would fade to black before I could let out another sentence....

Hey! Hi! Hello! I'm back!! And I brought with me a brand new concept! (inspired from one of my favorite games: Mario The Music Box ARC. !!) I really hope you all enjoy this brand new (potential) series I have planned! This specific story will definitely be shorter but still enjoyable! And don't worry, I won't abandon Spiritual Release. Its story is still going and as long as I have creativity flowing, then the story will keep coming! But now, you have two series's to look forward to!
