Beckon - means to signal or call someone, often in an inviting or encouraging way.
Rebound - means to bounce back, recover from something, or return to a previous state after a setback.
What happens to a child who isn't loved properly?
They tend to believe they aren't good enough.
What happens to a child who is overly loved by everyone?
They tend to believe they aren't giving enough.
