"How long to the railway station?" Yoongi mutters plainly, not even bothering to take a look behind.

"An hour and half if I max out at the speed." Taehyung mutters nervously, fresh adrenaline pumping into his blood stream.

"Do we have a kill-on-sight order for him?" Jimin questions aloud, slipping out gun from his holster, holding it down and stead with both hands, his brain rewiring with different possibilities.

"Unfortunately...no."

"Fight it is then."

"Attention all Gwangju Units." Yoongi demands through his telecommunication device. "We've got Jack tailing us at the outskirts of Gwangju, deploy back-up immediately."

No noise.

Not even static.

"Of course, they jammed it." Yoongi bangs his fist on the window. "It's just us."

"He's not alone." Jimin rasps, eyes steady on the rear view mirror up front through which he could see the truck, and it's unmistakable driver.

"Right." Yoongi agrees, and their fellow police officer companion looks at them in question, trying very hard to follow, and the Senior Agent notices the other's internal turmoil.

"That truck is loaded with men kid, there is no other reason why he would chose to follow us in such a heavy slow vehicle."

"Ah." Taehyung's heart beats harder against his chest, he had never been in such a fatally stressful situation before, but his best asset either way, was driving, drifting, taking dirty cuts in narrow corners and streets.

Quite the troublemaker back in Daegu.

"We have to kill each one of them, there's no backup." Jimin's rolling the window to his side down, face hot, determined, tensed, gritting his teeth shut as the cold wind slaps his face like a break.

"Are you good with cars Taehyung?"

Taehyung looks at the other through the rear view, giving a reassuring smirk.

"The best, actually."

Jimin fights his own smirk back, the thrill was getting to him, the thrill of a chase about to begin, his head buzzing.

"You hear the gunshot, you hit the gas at max, immediately."

"Agent what if you miss." Yoongi asks, skeptical and tensed.

Jimin shifts around to face the back, holding the gun with both his hands as he sticks his torso out.

"I never miss." He muttered just to himself, face incredibly still as he aims directly at the tire of the truck.

Bang!

The truck behind screeches loud, losing its steady momentum as it curves its path, and that was more than enough a sign for Taehyung to shift gears as Jimin slides right back in.

The truck turns all the way around the axis that was the busted tire, the back now faces them.

"Go! Go! Go!" Jimin urges loudly, back slamming against the seat as the engine roars, jolting them backwards, quickly accelerating in speed.

Jimin twists his body to look back.

The door of the truck opens.

"Fuck." Jimin curses, throat going dry. "It's not men."

He grimaces as his vision recognizes the familiar twinkling inside the truck as it fades into the distance, the twinkling of sunlight against metal, against reflecting surfaces.
