Chapter 2 - Raison D'être

That's the thing I heard from Nixon my boyfriend..soon to be ex-boyfriend. Caught him cheating last night with my friend, and they fucking slept together.

"Putangina Nixon! Sa tingin mo sorry lang katapat ng ginawa mo?! Ano ba ginawa ko para isukli mo sa 'akin 'yung ganito? Nixon ginawa ko ang lahat-lahat, I gave you the love that you deserve nung walang nagbigay sa'yo, nandiyan ako sa time na sobrang low na ng buhay mo, nandiyan ako nung iniwan ka nilang lahat! Pero putangina..bakit ito 'yung sinukli mo sa 'akin.."

"K-kayi..hindi ko sinadya 'yun, I was drunk"

"Edi sana alam mo na may girlfriend ka pa na uuwian 'nun, apaka dugyot niyo! Umalis ka sa harapan ko at wag na wag kang bumalik dito!" I slapped him hard before throwing him out.

"We're done.."

I ran to my room and locked myself, this is not the first time he's done this, this was his third chance and sinayang niya lang, I was so blind by his sweet words kaya siguro binigyan ko siya ng maraming chance kada pagkakamali niya at hindi na siya natututo, I was so happy stupid for even giving him chances.

"Hello? I heard what happened" A familiar voice.

"Ayi? Do you need someone to talk to? I'm here po" She peaked in the wooden door and showed a paper bag filled with food and drinks.

"O-oh! H-hi what's up?" I quickly wiped my tears streaming down my cheeks.

"Ayi..you look like a mess po oh, did you eat na po ba?" She took the food out of the paper bag and gave it to me.

"No need I already ate, thank you though"

I heard someone sobbing kaya I quickly checked the cameras around the house and saw Kayi shouting at a boy who's begging and kneeling crying even, I can't understand what they are talking about kaya lumabas muna ako to check on them.

I heard he cheated? That's so messed up.

"Eat the food po later ha? I'll be in my room if you need me po" I took a strand of her hair and tucked it in her ears, I gently lay her down. She's sleeping peacefully after all that crying she wasted on the guy.

I closed the door gently to not wake up the latter sleeping peacefully, medyo nainis 'din ako sa lalaki na 'yun. Kayi deserves better. I texted my Kuya's and informed them about what happened.

I went to the nearest convenience store to buy some ice cream. I got every flavor kasi I don't know her favorite flavor eh.

I heard footsteps towards the door and saw a barefaced girl who just woke up, messy hair, and a few unbuttons from her pajamas. She looks beautiful.

"I bought ice cream to cheer you up a bit, hope it helps" I handed her the plastic bag filled with ice cream containers and some sweets paired with water to drain the sweets.

"Hmm, come in, apologies about the room just threw some quite of tantrums" I chuckled and entered her room.

"I'll prepare some food later for you, I have to fix some files po muna ha?" I gently tapped her shoulder and gave her a side hug which my body melted into.

"Thank you again Kenz"

"Always welcome Ayi"

I left her room and entered mine, I sat on my work table and started to work before going to the grocery store to buy some goodies, mamaya uuwi na sila Kuya kaya sakto may pagkain na agad pag-uwi nila.
