1 month later.
Knock knock knock.
"Come in", me and billy said in unison.
The door opened and in came Zach, who looked really worried.
"What's wrong", asked Billy.
"Miss Alex needs everyone downstairs urgently", he said.
I got up from my bed and followed Zach as did Billy. We went down the stairs and into the living room. Everyone was there. Miss Alex walked in with a letter in her hand.
"Okay, everyone I'm not sure how to tell you all this but I got a letter a while ago and they want to shut down the orphanage. They want all the children to be adopted in a month or you go to foster families. They are putting an ad on t.v, to see if draws anyone in. I'm very sorry".
"Why are they closing us down", asked Mark.
"Because not enough children's are being adopted", she said, sadness in her voice.
--an hour later--
"Hey, they just put up the ad about the orphanage. You should see our faces, we look so sad", laughed Billy jumping on to his bed.
"What if we don't get adopted, we'll have to go to foster families. And then after about 2 months we go to another one. I don't want that. I want one family", I started to cry.
Billy came over and hugged me.
"I know, but you'll be adopted. Everyone would love a daughter. Especially you".
"Thank you Billy".
"Lisa", roared Zach coming through the he door.
"Yeah", I said.
"Someone wants to adopt you".
