Don't Let Go

The sun was scorching hot. Beads of sweat were dripping from your forehead. You were wearing denim shorts and a flowy white t-shirt, a change from the usual school outfit that you were dragged into this mess with.

You let out a gentle sigh as you stretched your arms and adjusted yourself on your seat.

This was the first time you were able to relax since joining Jotaro, Mr. Joestar, Avdol, Polnareff, and Kakyoin on their journey to Eygpt. You had got involved the same way as Polnareff and Kakyoin had, a flesh bud to the head, caught under DIO's charm. With only one goal: Take out the remainder of the Joestar bloodline.

You were joined by the red-haired cherry boy by the pool. You glanced at him as he took a seat beside you.

"How are you even surviving in this heat with that uniform on?" You questioned him with a slight smirk.

"You get used to it after a while." he calmly giggled in response.

"Where is everyone?" You asked curiously, as this was the first time any of us had a break from fighting stands.

"Jotaro and Anne went on a walk to get the tickets for the train to India, Mr Joestar and Avdol are in their room" he said in response as he leaned back in the seat, absorbing the heat.

You had a crush on Kakyoin ever since you laid eyes on him. When Jotaro removed the flesh bud from your head, Kakyoin constantly sat with you, making sure you were okay and always asking if you needed anything. He knew what it was like. He empathized with you.

30 minutes had passed. You both sat in silence the whole time, soaking in the sun.

"Shall we go see what the others are up to?" Kakyoin asked you.

"Sure." You answered as you put your hand beside you readying yourself to get up.

Before you knew it, Kakyoin was standing over you, offering out his hand to help you get up. At first you were startled, but soon enough you grabbed on to his hand and he pulled you up. When you were up, you attempted to pull away your hand away so you could start to walk back to the hotel, but Kakyoin refused to let go. You stared up at him with questioning eyes.

"Don't let go..." he said softly, making you shiver.

Could this really be happening? Is this real?

Your heart was pounding out of your chest. He leaned down and his face was millimeters away from yours. You both stared deeply into each others eyes as he put his right hand on your left cheek and started to caress it gently with his thumb.

Dumbfounded. You were lost for words.

Did he really have the same feelings for you as you did for him?

He locked lips with yours in a gentle kiss, embracing you even more by moving his hand slightly to towards the back of your head and applying gentle pressure. You responded by kissing back and putting your hands on both his cheeks. He squeezed you gently as he never expected you to respond like this. He thought you were way too good for him and that he'd never have a chance.

Oh, how he was so wrong.

You both pulled away, still embracing one another. He quickly pulled away once he had realized what had happened, blushing, he starting to walk back to the hotel. You stared at him as he quickly made his way back. You let out a small giggle and started following him back, taking your time so he wouldn't notice you.

You finally caught up to him in the hallway of the first floor of the hotel, out of breath you grabbed his hand.

"Don't.....let......go......" You wheezed, crouching slightly trying to catch your breath. He looked at you shocked.

Speechless, as he never thought his words would come back to haunt him. He then brought you close you him into a tight hug. You snuggled your head into his chest and wrapped your free arm around his waist as he wrapped his free arm around your upper body allowing your connected hands to be pressed between your bodies. He squeezed you tightly and kissed you on your forehead. Then

Kakyoin whispered to you softly,

"I won't ever let go..."
