Rayan is going to the boys’ washroom. There is a thin wall separating the girls’ and boys’ washrooms. As he enters, he hears someone vomiting on the other side. It’s Luna.

Rayan: Hey, Luna, are you okay? You sound sick.

Luna: [confused] Who is this?

Rayan: It’s me, Rayan.

Luna: Oh... yes, I just felt nauseous.

Luna steps out of the girls' washroom, looking pale.

Rayan: Come on, let’s go. I’ll take you to the clinic.

Luna: Where? No, it’s fine. I’m okay.

Rayan: [gently checks her forehead] You don’t seem alright. Wait here, I’ll get some medicine from the pharmacy.

Luna: Okay... are you feeling better now?

Rayan: Yes, I’m fine.

Luna: Are you sure?

Rayan: Yes, I’m sure.

Luna: Alright then. By the way, did you know? Your father is coming to our college today.

Rayan: [surprised] What? My father? Why?

Luna: Yes, and some police officers are with him too.

Rayan: What? This can’t be good...

Luna: Come on, let’s go check it out.

Rayan: Wait, Luna... hold on a second.

Luna: What happened?

Rayan: [hesitant] Can we... can we hug?

Luna: [shocked] What?

Rayan pulls Luna into a hug.

Rayan: [whispering] I just needed this... it helps me feel a bit relieved.
Rayan's father arrives with a group of police officers. Rayan spots him and walks over, looking surprised.

Rayan’s Father: Hey, son.

Rayan: What are you doing here, Dad?

Police Officer: The case is closed.

Rayan: [shocked] What? Closed? How?

Valley, Milli, and Tara overhear the conversation and look equally stunned.

Rayan: But why? What did you find?

Police Officer: It was ruled as a suicide, not a murder.

Rayan: Suicide? That doesn’t make any sense!

Police Officer: There was only one fingerprint found on the gun, and it belonged to Carl.

Rayan turns to his father, suspicious, and thinks to himself: “It was you, Dad.”

Rayan and his father leave the college and head to their house. The tension is thick between them.

Rayan: [angry] I know it was you, Dad. You made sure the case was closed. I’m certain of it.

Rayan’s Father: So what if I did? What about my reputation if the case isn’t closed?

Rayan: Your reputation? That’s all you care about! I lost a friend, Dad! First, you ruined things with Jack, and now Carl! Why do you always interfere with my friendships?

Rayan’s father looks at him, unfazed, while Rayan’s face is filled with anger and sadness.
Rayan enters the classroom, still angry with his father. Valley notices and walks up to him.

Valley: Hey, are you alright?

Rayan: Hey... yeah, I’m fine.

Just then, Jack enters the classroom. Everyone looks at him, relieved to see him.

Milli: Jack, you’re here! We weren’t sure if you’d come today.

Jack: Yeah, I came. Why wouldn’t I?

Milli: Didn’t you hear? The case is closed.

Jack: [surprised] What? How?

Tara: They ruled it a suicide, not a murder.
