Who is she?

Damien's POV:-

"I am literally so fucking late, ughhh", I thought to myself as I rushed to my cabin. I literally took the stairs cause the elevator was taking too long. As soon as I reached my cabin, I saw a 5'7 height, fair skinned, brown haired and brown eyed girl in my cabin. "Hello Mr. Damien, i'm your new personal assistant, Mila Millers" She introduced herself and extended her hand for me to shake it.

"Hello Mila" I shook her hand and sat down. I looked over to my desk to see a black coffee and the daily newspaper already set up on the table. "Your employees told me that you read the daily newspaper and take your coffee black, so I have already set that up for you"

"Did they? " I questioned. "Yes, they did indeed say that" She answered confidently.

"Good thing my employees aren't lying to you about me" I replied.

I knew then and there that I was gonna like her. Something about her personality, her attitude and the way confidence literally drips from every word she says. I was also really pleasentally surprised by her style of talking. She could literally persuade even the most stubborn people. A skill not most people have but is extremely crucial, especially for her role. I am finally understanding why the recruiter chose her from the hundreds of people applying for this specific role.

"What can I do for you today sir" She asked standing in front of me.

"I need you to print out these documents, schedule all the meetings happening in the next month on my calander, read thoroughly through the contract from the investors and tell me if this is a good deal for our company or not, and I also have a meeting today with the employees, schedule it for me today, that's all for now, I'll tell you if anything else pops up"

I saw as she wrote everything on a notepad and then she closed her pen. "I will report back to you after all the tasks are done Mr. Damien" She said and walked out the room, closing the door.

"What is happening to me? When in her presence, I feel weirdly shy, like, this is supposed to go the other way around" I thought to myself and just shrugged it off, continuing with my day's work

Mila's POV:-

I have a whole list of things to do today and I am pretty sure that I will get work done early today. I went to the printer and started printing out documents. Just then, a girl striked up a conversation with me.

"Hey, are you the CEO's new personal assistant" She asked, I replied in the affirmative. "Well, lovely to meet you, and just a heads up, the CEO has got really high standards of work and if an employee doesn't meet those stands, he fires them, so yea. Beware honey" she told me.

"Well, we'll see what is gonna happen, it would be best if I try to not get fired on the first day" I say and excuse myself from the conversation.

After work, I bid my farewell and go back to the hotel. Luckily, I have checked my phone and the girl to whom I had sent a message to wanting to be her roommate, actually responded, AND SHE SAID WE COULD MEET UP TOMORROW!!!!, she said exactly to meet up tomorrow at 4:00 pm so we can chat for a bit. I actually got to know about her looking from a childhood friend. Luckily, she lived in the same area. What a same world am I right! I am soooo excited, I wonder what meeting her is going to be like.......
