Jimin sat sobbing till he couldn't cry anymore, the police wanted to take his statement but they decided to wait it out till yoongi's surgery was done.
"Jimin my baby it's okk don't worry, yoongi will be ok I'm sure he will be, just for you"
"but appa what if he doesn't make it and it my fault- *sob*"
"no honey he will make it, he will, our yoongi is strong. take some rest, have faith in him."
jimin had informed their families of what had happened and he was on call with his father who was trying to console him.
"I hope so appa, I can't bear to lose him.."
"get some rest dear, we have to board the plane soon we'll come to you as soon as we reach"
"ok.." jimin kept his phone in his pocket while he waited for the doctors to bring any new out.
"hello, min jimin is it?"
"yes"
"I'm officer Jung hoseok"
"yes officer.."
"I know you're going through a tough time but I wanted to ask if you were willing to give any statements against mark right now, we had initially decided to wait it out but if you are ready to speak and get it done with we are more than willing to get it off your shoulders."
"ofc.. i guess"
"ok so tell us how you met him and all the interactions you have had so far...."
hoseok and jimin talked for about an hours abt every interaction jimin and mark had, when the incident occurred, how it occurred and how mark treated him in the entire process.
"ok thank you, if you remember any other details you'd like to share later you can always contact me on this number and let us know ok?"
"yes" jimin took the card from him, the only thing left was yoongi's side of the story so that they could proceed with the actions.
"I know it's not my place but I would suggest you get a drink and something to eat in order to fill your stomach and take a short nap till the surgery is over, it's going to be a long one..."
"yeah I will... in sometime..."
"alright, take care sir, me and another officer will be here, if you need anything feel free to let us know." with that hoseok left.
Jimin had gotten tired after the events that had occurred through out the day and all that crying so he didn't even realise when he fell asleep on the chairs
hours had passed and the surgery was still going on, by that time taehyung had arrived with jungkook
"jiminie"
jimin rubbed his eyes and woke up "tae.. "
"oh my baby what has happen- jimin do you have fever..?"
"I don't know I just slept here"
"jungkook babe please get some medicine for jimin he definitely has fever and grab us something to eat from the cafe"
"sure love"
jungkook went to grab these things while taehyung sat beside jimin "you should have told me earlier i would have gotten you a blanket or smth to keep you warm and cozy.. you're sick now.."
"it's ok is the surgery still going on?"
"yes it is, I think the doctor said it'll take 2 more hours and then it'll be fine, it's ok jimin, yoongi hyung will make it."
"I really wish he does" jimin's eyes had tears again but he was not sobbing anymore, just very scared and tired.
"here you go" taehyung took the medicine from jungkook and gave it to jimin along with a bottle of water.
"have this then rest for 2 hours I'll wake you up when the surgery is done."
"hmm.." jimin put his head on tae's shoulder and tried to sleep but he wasn't able to, he decided to just shut his eyes and rest if not sleep, after all rest is rest. jungkook and taehyung jsut carried on talking in hushed voices.
"how bad is it..?" tae asked
"real bad apparently.. but there's a high chance he'll make it, at least that's what the doc said.. no. He WILL make it. no option"
"yes he will." they intertwined their hands and sat in silence after that. two hours passed by fast their families came and everyone was waiting anxiously for the doctor.
the surgery was done and the doctor was abt to come and tell them what happened. jimin stood up suddenly, his head was spinning slightly but he decided not to think much of it. right now yoongi mattered to him.
the surgeon came out and started speaking "the wound was quite deep and it was a hard surgery to do, it was a -sir!" jimin's world darkened as he passed out.
people around him panicked while taehyung held onto him preventing him from falling. "we need to get a check up for jimin too"
soon enough they had an appointment and took jimin to one of the rooms.
"fever is it? you gave him the medicine how long ago?"
"just 2 hours ago is he ok doctor??"
"yes ofc I believe he is fine, it might be due to the lack of food in the body and the fever added to that could be a problem."
while they were talking jimin woke up.
"oh he is awake, nurse please check in with the patient"
the nurse went beside jimin and started checking his temperature. as the lady was taking his temperature jimin spoke "I feel nauseous" he sat up but the urge took over so instantly he got up and rushed to the nearest bin.
taehyung went behind him and rubbed his back.
"doctor what is wrong! what-"
"I think I have some idea.. let's help the patient first." They took care of jimin and finally he was slightly better.
"tae what happened to yoongi.."
"it was successful jimin but he's is not conscious yet..."
"he made it, that's enough, when he recovers he'll become conscious"
"yes he will"
"so mr. min jimin, we suspect that you might be pregnant. have you been sexually active in the past few months?"
"yes.."
"ok so we will have you take 3 of these tests just to confirm for sure."
they handed jimin the test and guided him to the bathroom.
he did the test and now they were waiting for the result..
"sir the tests came back positive, you are indeed pregnant congratulations!"
(they've had sex before this he did not get pregnant from recent encounters, don't come after my life <33)
tae and jimin gasped
"omg jimin! you're going to be a dad!!!! yoongi and you!!!"
"ik!! but tae what if yoongi doesn't-"
"no. no negative thoughts, yoongi loves you he'll love the baby too, he'll make it jimin, you guys will have your own family, do you want to tell everyone else?"
"no.. I want yoongi to be the first one to know apart from you of course since you already know.."
"sure, that's fine, get some rest, eat up a little no more carelessness and then we can go see yoongi."
"okk"
