Seven mermaid princesses somehow ended up in Japan outside of the Higurashi Shrine with their Guardian Fairies at their side. Kagome Higurashi found them and brought them inside. When the seven princesses regain consciousness, they don't remember where they came from or that they have families. So, Kagome and her family decided to adopt them and made them part of their family. But they didn't expect to be transported to the Sengoku period after falling into a well in Kagome's family shrine, where they meet the half-dog demon, half-human Inuyasha. After the sacred Shikon Jewel re-emerges from deep inside Kagome's body, she inadvertently shatters it into dozens of fragments that scatter across Japan. The seven princesses, Inuyasha and Kagome set out to recover Jewel's fragments, and through their quest, they are joined by the lecherous monk Miroku, the demon slayer Sango, and the fox demon Shippō. Together, they journey to restore the Shikon Jewel before it falls into the hands of the evil half-demon Naraku. But what the seven girls don't know is that they will have demons falling in love with them.
