Chapter 6

When the Eungang heard the loud crash, they immediately rushed inside. "GRAY! EUGENE!"

"Donald Na what the fuck did you do!?" Alex demanded.

"Donald didn't do anything!" Eugene quickly cleared things up. "Gray suddenly collapsed and was about to fall onto the table but Donald shielded him!"

"Kingsley, start the car!" Donald ordered. "We're taking him to the hospital!"

"No..." Gray weakly protested. "No hospital..."

"Gray, I know you don't like hospitals," Donald gently told him as he stood up while carrying Gray. "But you're too sick,"

"No..." Gray shook his head as Donald brought him over to the car. "No...No..."

"We're going with you!" Ben said as he opened the back door.

"I don't have time to argue with you guys!" Donald glared at them. "Fine, but there's only room for three in the back!"

It ended up with Ben, Alex, and Eugene riding in the back. Kingsley sat in the driver's seat and Donald sat in the front passenger seat while holding Gray in his arms.

"No hospital..." Gray pleaded. "No...please..."

"Gray, I'll stay with you the entire time," Donald told him. "I promise you that no one is going to hurt you. I'm not going to let anyone hurt you, little brother," The way Donald was so gentle and concerned about Gray's health finally convinced the Eungang that he really did care about Gray.

True to his word, Donald stayed by Gray's side the entire time even when Gray was sedated. After all the initial treatments were finished, Gray was transferred to his own hospital room and as per hospital policy, they contacted Gray's parents.

Sihyeon Yeon and Kitae Na rushed into the hospital to check on their son. Kitae froze at the doorway when he saw who was with Gray. "D...Donald?"

Donald glared daggers directly at him. He held Gray's hand with one hand and clenched a fist tightly with the other. His nail dug into his palms and drew blood. 'I have to hold myself back for Gray's sake. I can't let my anger get the best of me. If I make a scene, I'll be kicked out of the hospital,'

"Huh?" Ben asked. "How does Gray's dad know Donald?"

"Donald is my son," Kitae revealed.

"You have no right to call me that after you abandoned me when I was five years old!" Donald snapped.

"Donald," Kingsley placed a gentle hand on his boyfriend's shoulder. "You need to calm down,"

"Fine," Donald gritted his teeth. "Let's just focus on Gray right now,"

Sihyeon sent a glare towards her husband, indicating that later on she was going to have a discussion about him and the abandonment of this son that she hadn't known he had. But right now, they had to be there for Gray.

Gray woke up about an hour later. He immediately panicked and tried to rip the IV out of his arm but Donald managed to stop him. "Gray, it's okay," Donald softly told him. "You're not in that hellhole anymore,"

"I-I don't wanna be here..." Gray sobbed. "No hospitals...No hospitals...Doctors are bad! Doctors are bad!"

"These doctors aren't bad," Donald held Gray, who buried his face in Donald's chest. "They're helping you. You're very sick, Gray. I promise you that they won't hurt you. I won't let them hurt you. I'll stay with you during your entire stay, okay little brother?"

"Little brother?" Kitae raised a brow. "Donald, Gray's your older brother. You're the younger one,"

"Kitae, would you shut the fuck up!?" Donald sent a glare at the piece of shit before refocusing his attention on Gray. "Gray, I'll protect you. I promise,"

As much as Gray wanted to stay awake and continue begging to leave, he eventually exhausted himself and fell asleep. Sihyeon gently ran a hand through her son's hair. "Oh Gray..."

"Have the doctors informed you of what Gray has been through?" Kingsley asked.

"Yes..." Sihyeon's voice cracked when she recalled what she had been told. "Thank you...the both of you...for saving my son. Where did you find him?"

"I found him in an alley," Donald answered. "He was trying to slit his wrists. He would rather die than go back to his kidnappers and I don't blame him. If I ever get my hands on the ones who hurt my brother..."

"How long have you known that you and Gray were brothers?" Kitae asked.

"It would've been nice to know I had a brother since the beginning," Donald's voice was cold and icy as he glared at Kitae. "But unfortunately, I only found out about my relationship to him a little after taking him in,"

"Kitae, why did you never tell me about your other son?" Sihyeon confronted her husband. "And why did you abandon him in the first place?"

"I got tired of Sua so I left," Kitae shrugged. "I moved back to Gangnam and that's when I bumped into you again and you told me about Gray. Sparks ignited between us so we got back together. I didn't tell you about Donald because I didn't think it mattered since I wanted nothing to do with him,"

Ben, Alex, and Eugene couldn't believe what they were hearing. "Does this mean you plan on abandoning Gray and his mother if you ever get bored?" Alex angrily asked.

"Actually, I plan to do that right now," Kitae headed for the door. "I'm not dealing with a traumatized son. Sihyeon, I'll send the divorce papers through the mail,"

"That heartless bastard..." Sihyeon was in disbelief about how her husband of so many years had just upped and left just like that, especially when their son needed him most.

"Do you want me to drag him back here?" Ben offered.

"Don't," Donald's voice was extremely quiet and sounded as if he was struggling to remain composed. "If he doesn't want to be a father, it's better to let him leave. Forcing him to stay would only cause more pain to Gray. Part of the reason why Gray never wanted to contact his parents was because he was worried about them being disgusted and rejecting him. That piece of shit did just that,"

"Gray's going to spiral once he realizes Kitae abandoned him," Kingsley said.

"And I'll be here to comfort him," Donald replied. "I didn't need that bastard and Gray doesn't need him either. We'll be fine without him. We'll be fine,"

Kitae Na is a real piece of shit.
