The elements

Chapter 3

Sorry guys I haven't updated. I've been thinking on how to continue the story!!! But I'm back now and I'm gonna try and make this chapter a little longer than the last to.

Well here's chapter 3 :*

*Eric's POV*
"ERIC! Wake up!!! You're gonna be late for school!" Mom yelled from the bottom of the steps. I woke up and sat up in bed. I stood up and stumbled towards my bedroom door and opened it.

"I'm up!" I yelled back. I closed my bedroom door and walked to my bathroom. I looked in the mirror and ruffled my goldfish brown hair into a messy hair style.

After I got finished fixing my hair I pulled a pair of white skinny jeans out of my closet and pulled out a black long sleeved muscle shirt.

My body is kinda toned. Im not really all that muscular but I have abs. You can only see them if I flex. Anyways, enough about that, I got dressed and headed downstairs and saw my mom in the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen and said good morning. She turned around and looked at me and smiled. "Want some breakfast sweety?" She asked.

"No thanks mom. I'm gonna be late." I told her as I gave her a hug and rushed out the door. I group texted Michael, Alyssa, and Chloe

Eric: Are we walking to school today or are we taking our buses?

Alyssa, Michael, and Chloe: Walking to school. Let's meet at the tree in the park and walk together.

I put my phone away and walked to the park we were at yesterday. I saw them three standing by the tree. "Chloe and Alyssa need to tell us something, Eric." Michael said before I could say anything.

"Ok, but let's walk and talk before we're late for school."

"Fine" Chloe huffed.

*Chloe's POV*

I looked at them all anxiously. "Ok so what I'm about to say is gonna be strange but you guys need to hear this" she paused... "That shadow thing from in the dreams came to me yesterday." They all looked at me as if I wasn't crazy which was a relief.

"Same here" Michael, Alyssa, and Eric said altogether. "Well, let me finish. It was in my house in the living room. It asked me what element that I am... I didn't understand its question. What do you think it means??" Chloe said.

"I'm not sure. It didn't speak to me yesterday. I felt eyes on me and when I turned around it was there. So I ran home. I was scared to be honest." Eric said. He looked really scared. But if its watching him, maybe its watching us all trying to figure things out about us.

"Well, that shadow spoke to me too." Alyssa said looking kind of freaked. "It told me to give a message to my 'fire buddy'. I don't know who or what that is or means. Then it said it will kill us all so we won't fulfill the prophecy. I ran and hid under my covers." She finished with a sigh. That's just weird and freaky. Why is this thing bothering us?? Its so strange because it won't leave us alone. It wants something. And I'm not gonna give it to that thing willingly.

Michael finally spoke up as we got to the schools parking lot. "It spoke to me too guys... It asked me to join it. Then it threatened to Kill us. I didn't respond. I just ran home."

"What in the hell is this thing?" I asked again. No one answered because none of us new. We walked inside the school and went our separate ways.

*Eric's POV*

At lunch it was really strange. None of us really spoke. We were all freaked out about what happened. I looked at my friends. Alyssa was just sitting across the table picking at her food with a fork. Michael was looking down at his lap. Chloe was twirling her long blonde hair and playing with it. I was about to speak when all of a sudden the fire alarm went off. The kitchen in the cafeteria engulfed into flames. All the kids in the cafeteria jumped up and ran for the main entrance. We all hopped up as I heard someone scream help from the kitchen. I turned around to go help when I felt someone tug on my arm.

"What are you doing Eric?" Chloe asked in a worried tone. "I need to help the lunch lady. She's still in there" I told her. "You can't do that. You'll get hurt!" She said suddenly getting angry. "Look, take the others and get them out of the school, I'll be right back.

"Fine" she huffed in rage.

I turned around and ran towards the kitchen. Flames were everywhere. I spotted the lonch lady in a. Corner crying her eyes out. I carefully walked over to her and told her I'm here to help.

"Thank you young man" she said thankfully. We started to walk towards the kitchen doors when part of the ceiling collapsed. It was gonna fall on us!! The lunch lady screamed and I threw my hands up above my head. The part of the ceiling that was engulfed in flames that was gonna fall on us disintegrated into ash. The woman looked at me freaked and ran out of the kitchen. I looked ran out of the kitchen and the school also looking at my hands.

What did I just do?

Well I hope you guys liked this chapter. I tried to make it longer than the last two.
