I made this story because I wanted to explore the journey of love, healing, and self-discovery through the eyes of two people who had lost pieces of themselves along the way. There's something powerful about watching characters grow not just in their relationship with each other, but in how they confront their own fears and insecurities.
For me, this story is about hope. It's about how love isn't about fixing someone or being perfect, but about showing up for each other, flaws and all. I wanted to write something that reminds me and anyone who reads it that even when life feels heavy, there's always the possibility of starting again.
I think a part of me sees bits of my questions about life and relationships in these characters. Writing this was like answering those questions, showing that even in the toughest moments, there's a way forward. It's a story of resilience, of finding beauty in the small steps, and of embracing the uncertainty of what comes next.
