Chapter Four: The Liar that Rejected

[< Kageyama's POV >]

"I'm in love with you Kageyama Tobio!" I heard Hinata say.

I stared at him, shocked. I didn't know what to do. Yes, I did like him but no, I could not tell him I liked him back. I couldn't. As much as I wanted to I just couldn't.

"Well..." I said. "I don't like you that way." It came out harsher than I ment it to.

He stared at me, tears in his eyes. Tears streamed down his face. I had gone and done it now.

"Hinata..." I said. "Hey... I'm sorry..."

"No... it's fine..." he said. Though I knew he wasn't.

"I gotta go," he said. "My parents don't know where I am." He.started walking off and I was alone. He ran off somewhere, possibly back to his house, or off somewhere else.

I sighed. What did I do? Why did I say that? I don't know. I'm such an idiot. I decided to walk back to my house. It was empty and I was alone again. It was nice with Hinata there even if it was only for the night. I wish I didn't do what I did. I thought about what I could do. I wanted to make things right with Hinata but I didn't know how. I needed advice, and fast.

And I was also wondering if you can help me with suggestions for the next chapter as well please and thank you. I'm not that good at Kageyama's POV tbh but I try.
