10. Falling but caught

Lucy P.O.V

I have been whispering to Natsu and Gray for the last thirty minutes about what happened to them and me. I remember a secret passage the maids put in when I was little and that helped me run away when I was older.

"Want to get out" I don't even finish before happy says:

"Aye Sir!"

I crawl upstairs and check to see if anyone is there. Nope! that's good. Ok I just need to get the ladder. Natsu offers to hold it while I try to find the vent on top of the bookshelf which will lead me to safety. I find it in minutes and try to get back down to tell Natsu and the others until I fall back first down the ladder Gray was about to catch me but Natsu caught me first and didn't anticipate how heavy I would be and ended up falling over. Me on top of him. I can feel myself blushing.

Natsu P.O.V

Lucy is on top of me and she is blushing but it makes her look really cute.

"Sorry Lucy" I whisper loud enough for her to hear

"It's okay" She's biting her lip and slightly shaking her head.

I try to get up but I feel a warm hand yank on my scarf and pull me towards her I lean in and gently kiss her lips. Her eyes are wide but gently close and kisses me back. She pulls away and mumbles "I was going to say I love you but..."

I cut her off by saying "I love you too"

"Hey NaLu! we are planning a jail break here not a wedding! and did you find the shaft Lucy?" Gray moans

"No that's why I was coming back down" She said very sarcastically.

Lucy P.O.V

I keep thinking of how warm Natsu's lips were.

Once we are all in the vent - me at the front - we start travelling to the outside.

"I think we are almost there guys!"

Once we get to the end I pop open the vent and almost fell down if it wasn't for Gray and Natsu grabbing my ankles.

"Careful Lucy" Gray said surprisingly worried.

Once outside we all remember one thing

"Ohhhh"

"what?!" Obviously Natsu forgot

"Natsu are we forgetting anything?" Gray teasing Natsu

"Nope..." he started walking home when he exclaimed "ERZA!"

I'm sorry it took so long for me to update I have had very busy weeks and, I'm gonna end this story soon maybe and focus on my other ones, but I have the six weeks holidays so there will definately be an update.
