I took Jenna's advice and went to her set everyday. The first day she looked really happy to see me, but it suddenly hit her that we're mad at each other. From that point on any time I came near to her she would start a conversation with Jeremy, Taylor, or even random fans to keep avoiding me. After a week I went to talk to the boys. "Jeremy.. Taylor.." I sighed and looked at them, "I fucked up." They laughed slightly and nodded, "That you did my friend. That you did." They both hugged me and I sat with them at the merch booth. Hayley had walked off to grab some food and take a bathroom break so I had time to talk to them. "I want to make it right. I hate seeing her upset. I just want to hug her and hold her and kiss her and tell her everything's alright."

"What you said really got to her, Alice." Taylor nodded, "The thing with Jess really got to her too." They both looked at each other and then behind me. That confused me a bit. "What do you feel or Hayley?" Jeremy asked as he signed some fan's shirt. "I love her. I have since we first met at the park. I just want her to be happy, whether she wants to stay best friends or be something more. Even if she just wants me to leave her alone.. if that's what she wants and it'll make her happy I'll never talk to her again. I never had friends. I barely dated anyone. Even when I did it didn't feel real. That kiss me and Hayley shared felt real." I buried my face in my hands and mumbled, "Guys.. I think I ruined what we could have had because I flipped out and got insecure..." Jeremy looked at me and shook his head, "Well, why don't you ask her yourself?"

"I can't. She won't even talk to me." I felt someone stick something in my pocket and Taylor nodded to someone behind me. Hayley sat silently in between the two boys and I looked at her. She avoided my gaze and began talking to a fan. "Bye guys.." I walked off and stuck my hands in my pockets. My fingers brushed against something and I stopped in confusion. "Hey, Alice! What's up?" Jenna nudged my shoulder. I didn't pay attention as I took a small slip of paper out of my pocket. "It's kinda weird we looped back to play your hometown again isn't it? Alex told me to tell you he went to go visit your parents." I nodded, barely listening to her words as I unfolded the small slip and read what it said in a low whisper, "Meet me at our spot when it gets dark- H" Jenna read the paper over my shoulder and looked at me. "You gonna meet her?"

"Of course I am." I nodded and read the paper over and over again. "Do you love her?"

"More than anything."

"Then do me a favor, okay?" I looked up at one of my best friends and she put a hand on my shoulder and squeezed it. "If you never listen to another word from me I want to tell you this. You're my best friend and it's pretty goddamn obvious that you love this girl. If she ever gives you the chance to be hers you do not let go." She stared at me and I nodded. "And you definitely don't say stupid shit like you did that night you flipped out on her." She laughed and I rolled my eyes. "Thanks for the advice, Jen. I have to go get ready. The sun is starting to set a bit." She nodded and saluted me, "Good luck, Alice. Come by and tell me and Tay how it goes whenever you can." I nodded and halfway ran back to the All Time Low bus. "Guys!" I yelled into the bus. Jack, Rian and Zack looked up from the kitchen table. "Alex is out. What's up?" Rian asked and I handed them the paper. They all looked up at me and smiled. "Tell us your plan.." Jack said and I began going through it with them. "Good plan." Zack nodded. I saw the darkness outside and hurried to pull on some cleaner clothes. "Wish me luck!" I yelled into the bus as I began my walk to the park. Once I got there I saw Hayley sitting on one of the jungle gym sets and swinging her feet. I sat next to her and she didn't look at me before speaking. "Hey.."

"Hey.." I whispered back. She laid her head down on my shoulder and I prepared myself for what could happen.
