Sitting comfortably over the feather-soft sectional sofa that stood in the middle of the hotel's living room suite he was staying that night, Chris Brown's lips curved into a wide grin as he saw the door of the room begin to open.

He knew who was coming in, that was why he was grinning; and as he watched and waited for this person to push the door all the way in and subsequently enter the dim lighted room, he couldn't help but to go back in memory lane to the events that took place two days ago and then earlier that day...

It went like this, when Chris first received a call saying that the owner of RCA Records wanted to have a private meeting with him, he couldn't help but do a double take as he muttered amusedly an excuse me? into the phone.

Back to that moment, Chris couldn't quite believe what his ears picked up and when he was told again through clenched teeth that the Jay Z was interested in buying RCA Records and everybody knows that if haven't lived up to his standards he will let you go on the spot. Chris just had to laugh, his mood picking up while feeling a huge wave of satisfaction wash completely over him.

It was just that... well, everybody and their mother knew that he and Future didn't get along and just to think that the man was basically going to plea with him to help him get on Jay Z good side was beyond satisfactory. Now everybody knows that Jay Z and Chris Brown aren't the best of friends but nobody can deny the talent that Chris has...not even Jay Z.

So yes, the call definitely caught his attention and even though he had no interest of working with him on a song or talking to Jay bout him, out of curiosity he agreed to do the meeting. After all what could he really lose? As he saw it, just by going there and listening to what the man had to say and then refusing him could turn out to be a lot of fun.

That was the reason why he did the meeting and at the end, he had to admit that he loved it; it was a revenge of sorts because if anything, Future had made his life a living hell and he saw the whole thing as an opportunity to retaliate without too much effort.

So, with plans of revenge running through his mind, Chris didn't play difficult when he got the call. He said yes and the plane ticket was sent that same afternoon so that two days later he could sit in front of the man himself and listen to what he had to say.

What happened in the meeting was very fresh in his mind; he remembered every word and every gesture made. It went something like this:

Rubbing with the tip of his fingers his clean shaven jaw, Chris Brown quirked his lips and shrugged. "So let me see if I got this straight; the Jay Z is interested in buying RCA Records and you think he might be planning on letting you go when he becomes the new boss?"

The words were said in the most disinterested tone he could muster even though he felt like laughing out loud, and as he said that, Future shifted in his executive chair and cleared his throat.

"Its not that I'm worried cause I grow bigger everyday but I don't want to take any changes and I just want to make you... happy."

The words were politely spat and Chris had to bite the smirk that wanted to take over his features; it was obvious that Future wasn't having the best time of his life and that alone was worth the trip that took him out of his routine.

"It would make me happy to prove to Jay Z how much of a good rapper you are, so..." He began to say, tilting his head to the right and smiling his customary dimple smile. "Maybe what I will not do a song with you or talk to Jay for you. You'll be in the unemployment line in a matter of nothing."
