Chapter 12

CAMILA POV
I was mentally exhausted from tonight. I cried and yelled to many times, so now I have a headache. I went to my bunk and hoped I could fall asleep and luckily I did........

'I woke up to the usual chatter in the kitchen. I walked out and saw the girls sitting around the table talking happily.

"Morning Mila, how did you sleep?" Ally asked.

"Fine, but I had a headache from the fighting and crying last night," I admitted.

"Why were you crying, Camz?" Lauren asked concerned.

"Because y/n and I fought and it got kinda ugly. Really guys? Didn't you hear it or read the note?" I asked them confused.

"What note?" Normani asked.

"The one on the t-" but there was no note and y/n's suit wasn't there. The girls looked at me like I'm crazy.

"Guys, where is y/n's suit?" I questioned.

"Um it's on her body. Why you want it? You gonna take it off yourself?" y/b/n joked and winked. Ally punched her in the arm.

"What?! She left last night!!" I exclaimed. Just then the bus's door opened.

"Hey you all, I'm about to head off to patrol!" That beautiful voice shouted coming in. I saw y/n and got tears in my eyes. I started running towards her.

"Y/N!!!!" I jumped and gave her a koala hug. She kissed my head. Was she already over the fight? "You came back!" I said happily. She laughed.

"I never left cami!" She told me. Huh?

She started leaning in, closing her eyes and said, "now do me a favor and...." ~

"WAKE UP MILA!" Dinah shouted. I shot up and sighed. It was just a dream.

"C'mon you have to get ready." She told me. I got out of bed and it changed for the day depressed. I went into the kitchen...it was like my dream but a few things were different. The girls seemed sad. Also, the letter and y/n's suit were on the table.

"I'm guessing you guys read the letter?" I asked sitting down sad.

"Yeah, I can't believe she left. She loves you guys!" Y/b/n replied shocked.

"We were too tough on her. She had a lot on her plate and us fighting probably didn't help," normani said. We all sat silent.

"I broke up with her." I confessed and the girls gasped. "I tried to apologize because I really didn't mean it, but she agreed and then left." I continued on crying. Ally started rubbing my back comforting me.

"Maybe she'll come back...this isn't like y/n," y/b/n said.

"No," I said shaking my head. "We pushed her away. She thinks there is no reason to come back," I said.

"Then let's get her back! Let's just go to her apartment!" Normani exclaimed.

"If only mani, but we have a concert tonight. Maybe we can try after though," lauren suggested.

"Hopefully, nothing happens tonight with....he who should not be named," ally whispered.

"He's not voldemort ally," Dinah rolled her eyes. "But she's right. We need spidey back. Only she can handle him."

"Hopefully, we can get her back," I said doubtfully. "But let's go...it's time for sound check. The sooner today is over, the sooner we can go to y/n."

Usually at sound check we are wild.
We would run and dance around the stage while singing each other's parts terribly as a joke, but it was different today. We all just stood on stage singing quietly into our mics.

We weren't in the mood and we wanted this done quickly. I'm pretty sure the crew noticed, but the didn't ask questions. They just did their jobs.

About halfway through the sound check the lights and audio shut off. We thought it was technical difficulties, so we just relaxed on stage waiting to continue.

"What's the matter girls?" A creepy voice echoed through the arena. We got a bit frightened and gathered together. "Still a bit spooked from last night?"

"This is not happening. This is not happening." I kept whispering.

A spotlight lit up and it shined upon none other than the green goblin. Y/n was right...he was absolutely terrifying.

He started walking to the stage. Where is our hero when we need her?

"So ladies where is our spider friend or should I say freak?" Green goblin asked. I got angry when he said that about y/n. He's the freak, not her.

"Shouldn't you know....I thought you knew everything," lauren shot back.

He walked up to lauren and got in her face. "Now, now lauren. I know you're sassy, but you need to learn to control your anger. It could get you into trouble." He said.

Lauren rolled her eyes but bit her tongue scared as to what he might do. He backed away a little.

"Someone better answer my question." He said. Everyone was silent though. "NOW!" And we all jumped.

"She left!" Y/b/n shouted from the crowd.

"Really?" He sounded shocked. "Couldn't handle me huh? I always knew she was weak." He said chuckling. That's it...

"Y/n is not weak! She never left because of you! It was because of..." I trailed off a little. "She left because of other reasons. She is 10x the person you will ever be!!! You were no threat, you stupid asshole! And you better watch out when she comes back because you'll be behind bars again. You're a loser who doesn't frighten anyone." I growled out.

He ran up to me and grabbed me by my throat and lifted me off the ground. The girls tried to stop him, but he shot them a look to stop. They backed away slowly. He turned to me.

"Listen you little brat. I wouldn't be disrespecting me if I were you. You're lucky I'm only here for y/n, but I wouldn't mind hurting you...especially if it meant hurting y/n. Actually That's exactly what I'll do. If I hurt you, it might motivate y/n come back quicker." He threatened.

He pulled something out of his pocket. It looked like a terrible torture device. I let out a little whimper.

"This will teach you to talk out of turn. Prepare yourself you bitch. This is going to hurt a lot...." He laughed evilly. I screamed as he got closed to me with the device.

"Let her go," we heard a voice say. The green goblin stiffened and let me go. I fell to the floor gasping for air and the girls ran and grabbed me. They dragged me to their huddle.

I looked and saw her. She was standing on the edge of stage. Another spotlight sparkling on her. And she was wearing her suit.

I gasped. "Spidey...you came back" I whispered but I'm pretty sure everyone heard me.

"Well well welcome back y/n. And in a very familiar setting," the green goblin.

"Yeah, the one where I beat you," y/n sneered back. She seemed even more
Confident than before.

"We will see about that now," green goblin said. And he charged with y/n running towards him too.
