“Where the hell are you going!” I asked my best friend in a shocked tone while he was wearing a yellow kurta.
“Today is my first cousin’s mayoun event. I can’t miss that.” He says while buttoning his kurta. Why didn’t he tell me this earlier? I wouldn’t have come here then. He turns and shows me his outfit, I showed him a thumbs up as he was looking good. His first cousin that means Ayla would be there too.
Why the hell am I thinking about her?
I would be lying if I said that I didn’t care when I saw her today because that’s a lie. When my eyes connected with hers, my whole body stiffened and my heartbeat was so fast, I thought my heart would come out any second. Farhan told me that she would be coming to the hospital for a job interview but actually seeing her was a different thing.
When I got to know that she has graduated from the University and has become a doctor, I was the one who talked to Doctor Arkham about her and got to know that he was her NMDCAT teacher. He immediately made a call to her and called her here to work in this hospital and gain experience.
I told Farhan not to tell her about this or else I don’t know what will happen, maybe she would decline the offer if she came to know that I had talked with Doctor Arkham. It's great that she doesn’t know about this. I wanted her to work in the best hospital and this hospital was the best. Everything here was great and Ayla will not be having any problem here and if she would be having a problem, I'm here.
She’s changed in these six years. The Ayla I knew wasn’t so cold hearted but it's not her fault as well because I am the culprit for making her like this and I regret it every second.

The memories of six years came in my mind all of a sudden, making me shiver at the thought. Honestly, I didn’t like her six years ago. I mean she was my best friend's sister and that’s it but after six years when I saw her standing in the doctor’s lounge, I realized that she’s not only my best friend's sister but is now the owner of my heart.
“Where are you lost bro?” Farhan asks by looking at me from the mirror while spraying perfume on himself. Ayla wasn’t here, I don’t know where she is but I only know that she’s not here and asking Farhan would make him suspicious so it's better to not ask anything about her.
“Nowhere. I think I should go now as you’re leaving too.” I said and wore my bag on my shoulder to leave.
“You’re not going anywhere dude. You’re coming with me to the event.” He says, making me shocked at his words.
“Why the hell will I go to the event? I don’t even know your cousin and to be clear, I'm uninvited.” I pointed out.
“Remember one week ago you told me that your friend Maaz Haroon is getting married?” He asks while coming towards me with a smile on his face. I looked at him with confusion in my eyes but still nodded my head. “My first cousin is his fiancee.” He says calmly, making me raise my eyebrows in shock. Maaz is marrying Farhan’s cousin? Why didn’t I know about this and why didn’t this idiot tell me if he knew this?
“Oh.” I Could only utter these words. “But still why would I go to the event? I’m still uninvited.” I said looking at him with annoyance.
