my life is ruined...

The cool air blasted. The rushing cool air brought a chill up my spine. I started up my car. I then began to drive to school.

I finally arrived 10 minutes before fist bell. I took out my car keys and put them in my purse. When I reach the main gate Chelsea stops me.

"OMG did you see Derek score that touchdown at the game last night?" She asked me with excitement.

After trying to find a way to tell her no I was studying I just said,"Nope. I must've been in the bathroom or getting nachos."

"The snack bar here doesn't have nachos." She paused after she realized what I had been doing."You were studying!!! You need to lay off the books and get out to a game, girl." She told me as I walked past her.

When inside the building I started to my first class, Math. Suddenly Derek stops me. 'Oh he's perfect. His freckles on his face, his ability to play football, his hair, his um... his everything!' I thought to myself as I pretended I dropped something right In front of him.

"Hey Vanessa. So I um... Was wondering if you wanted to go out to eat Friday night? I could take you to vinnie's after the game."

'Omg is this really happening to me?!? Derek green, quarterback for NAU, is asking me out!!!' I calmed down. "Yeah sure I'd love that."I said.

"Okay. See you later Vanessa." Derek said as he waved and walked away.

So this is the first chapter of my book. I will probably be doing one chapter a day to start off, then slow down as I get more popular.
