"Are you sure, My Queen?" Yuna asks once again as she ties the front of Y/n's cloak over her dress.
Y/n nods at the young girl. "I have to meet him. I cannot delay it anymore. He might know something and I need to know what the hell is going on in my kingdom."
Yuna stares at the young Empress in worry. Y/n never brings personal emotions to the surface, but at this moment, the concern is easy to detect in her body language. Yuna has slowly picked up on her anxiety for days now. Ever since she walked into her room after she came back from the dungeons with the men, half her attention has drifted somewhere else entirely.
It seems Kim Namjoon might know something, and Y/n wants to know what that is.
Together, cloaked in the dark, the two ladies leave the warmth of their room. It is past midnight, and Y/n would have thought the ship would have gone quiet by now, but she is blasted with the sound of men shattering and folk music.
Having stayed with these men for months now, Y/n knows it is Yoongi belting those tunes with his good ol' flute. He never lets anyone touch it and carries it around in his waist belt at all times. He is like Jimin with his hand fans and small jewelry.
Except, she finds Jimin's fashion utterly attractive. But that probably has everything to do with her yearning feelings for him. One would wonder, if a man who has spent most of his life sailing the sea than he has land, would be ignorant of fashion and trends. But no. That man has exceptional taste. He is always draped in fine silk and luxurious coats and jewels.
It does something to Y/n's heart. They both have a soft spot for fashion.
This late-night crowd can only mean one thing. The boys are partying. Y/n shakes her head. She has lost count of the times she has walked in on them in the morning, groaning in pain from the hangover partying all night. All except Jimin, of course. Y/n is sure he is not a human at all.
However, as she and Yuna walk closer to the staircase that is keeping them out of the men's view and peek into the open deck at the crowd, she is instantly proven wrong. Skin. A lot of skin. Both of the young maiden's faces turn beet red at the sight of so much exposed abdomen.
"What in the.." Yuna gaps at the scene, turning completely speechless.
Y/n has to agree, cause what the hell? Why are these men always up to something? And why is it the weirdest thing ever?
They both stare as some of the men passionately compare the size of their bulging biceps and lean stomachs, while the others are immersed in intense sword fighting and physical combat. It looks like they are competing, and very enthusiastically too. Is this how they spend their time out in the sea to keep themselves busy?
Y/n does not know if she should be impressed by their creativity or embarrassed to have walked in on them.
But what she does do is almost jump out of her skin when a heavy hand rests on the top of her head from behind. "Where are you two headed off to?"
