It's been a while since I've ever wrote anything related to werewolves which was my old korrasami stories and those stories weren't really good but that's how I first started out with writing so I hope this chapter will be bearable to read

One night Uzi was walking home from a party she attended, willingly which was surprising her but since Thad was someone she tolerated and he actually remembers her name she went considering he considered her a cool kid, she looked up at the night starry sky,

She sighed softly and checked her phone, looking down at the screen showing the time which showed 12:37am she'd sneak in through the window, it wasn't like her parents knew she snuck out anyway, a few blocks away she heard rustling in the bushes so she quickly turned around to see nothing, Uzi turned the flashlight feature on her phone on and held it up to see if she can find someone hiding, but when she didn't see anything she figured it was a stray cat or something, but now cautious she decided to really pay attention to her surroundings, speed walking she was unaware of the pair of yellow eyes staring at her from the woods, V aka Valerie, (her human name) had been struggling with transforming considering it happens whenever she smelt the enticing set of blood, (she cut her hand when she fell) relieved that she wasn't spotted by her classmate went back to calming herself down, as claws grew from her nails, the process slow and painful, she groaned softly in pain,

Next day Uzi walked into class and noticed a classmate not there, V, she didn't really know her but she did know that she was always at school, even if not in class but she hasn't seen her at all, uzi had always seen her with Lizzy or Jace, (J's human name)

She shrugged it off and sat next to Nate, (N's human name) "hey Uzi, did you get any sleep this time?" Nate asked with a curious expression towards his sleep deprived friend, the goth rolled her eyes and just lays her face on the desk quietly, "like..two hours" Nate shook his head "You know you get more sleep if you didn't stay up all night reading fanfics and crying to them" (he knows since sometimes he was allowed to stay over at uzi's place, Uzi huffed "bite me! I just prefer to read them at night" Nate chuckled before going back to work on his paper,  "call me out like that again and I'm explaining the five nights at Freddy's lore again." Nate paused, he remembered that time when he wasn't allowed to move or anything at all while Uzi explained the five nights at Freddy's lore, "okay okay-!" Though he did actually find it interesting so he did ask some questions and was shown the games on her phone the books and even the movie, after class Uzi decided to skip class which Nate didn't since he wanted to keep up with his grades, though he promised to skip with her next time which was fine with Uzi, she walked out of the school and began walking through the park that was forgotten, everything was overgrown and only used for people to jog around or hike but those were rare, so the park was mostly ignored with ghost stories and rumors giving it an infamous reputation, Uzi didn't believe the rumors since she used to be here way before the park was abandoned, so she headed over to her favorite spot, sitting down on the broken down ride, rusting away from how long it was left uncared for, she pulled out her phone and began playing some Nightcore which first played, 'pretty little psycho' she lays back and sighs, closing her eyes she completely zoned out, losing herself in the words and beats of the music,
Hours go by school has ended at least 30 minutes ago so she figured it was time to head home, she got up and decided to take a shortcut through the park, while listening to a song 'i don't smoke'  but she heard a crunch behind her, she turned to see Valerie, she wore a cropped jacket and shorts, "hey Uzi" she hummed mischievously, "where the hell did you come from??" Uzi jumped back earning an amused giggle from Valerie, "I saw you walking so came to make myself known," she shrugged, "I noticed you weren't in class or at school at all today" Uzi murmured, "aww.. You were looking for me~?" Valerie teased "what no!? Shut up!! It was just something I happened to notice!" Uzi snapped trying to defend herself, but that didn't seem to matter to Valerie, she approached the shorter girl, "I was skipping the whole day" she explained, "I see, but why make yourself known when you saw me?" Uzi raised her brow, "I want to talk to the short goth girl that's why" "ugh! Bite me! I'm not that short! You're just freakishly tall!" Uzi huffed with frustration, Valerie watched with a mischievous expression, and something else 'oh Uzi doorman I will.' she thought to herself, taking uzi's words as challenge,
