Paisley is a typical teenager. Her boyfriend, Jayson, has always been loyal and loving. Her best friend, Blake, has always been by her side since kindergarten. Paisley thought she had her life under control, until a high school party that tore her life apart.

Today's Thursday, and I'm starving in the schools lunch line. Suddenly, arms wrap around my waist and a pair of warm lips whisper, "Guess who?"
I turn around in his arms and smile when Jason steals a kiss on my lips as soon as I turn around. "Hey, how's your day been?"
"Swell, hey, can I talk to you?" Jason looks around at the girls swooning at his looks and giving me dirty glares. "Alone, maybe?"
"Yeah, sure," I whisper. He lets go of my waist and grabs my hand, tugging me along beside him.
He pulls me into an empty classroom and shuts the door.
"What did you want to talk about?" I smile as he pouts at me pushing him away to talk.
"Will you go to a party with me tomorrow night? Please? I know you don't like parties but this one is supposed to be the best of the best!" He pleads with his gorgeous eyes for me to say yes.
"Who's house?"
"Jackson's," I frown but nod.
"Fine, but only if you limit your drinks. I don't want to carry you to the truck or have to sleep with you at his house because you've got so much in you it won't stop coming out both ends," I say with full seriousness as he cracks a smile at my last comment.
"Thank you, you won't regret it," he says, then kisses me lightly. Suddenly, my stomach growls so loudly, you'd think a bear was in the room. "Let get some food in that endless pit of yours," he said with a grin.
We turn off the lights and go into the empty hall and head for class.
We round the corner and run straight into Jackson, Jayson's best friend. Jackson is a nice guy and all, but he acts kind of weird around me. "Hey bro," Jayson says, pulling into one of those bro hug things. Then, they do their 'secret handshake' and clap each other hard on the back. "Hey, Paisley can go to your party tomorrow night! Isn't that great?"
"Hey Paisley, that's great! I know you aren't a real party-goer so I'm glad you can make it." Jackson was obviously checking me out until Jayson cleared his thought and glared at Jackson. If looks could kill...
"Yeah, um, you boys can catch up, I'm just going to go get some food. Bye." I quickly walked away, trying to get away from the boys as fast as I could. It made me very uncomfortable when boys checked me out, so Jayson usually tried to hide it. Obviously, Jackson wasn't very good at hiding it.
I think Jackson has a thing for me, but I wasn't going to wait and find out. I was just going to let the possessive side of Jayson take care of it.

As I returned to my locker once again after a long 6th period, I got pissed again. Layla is the school's bitch. She has always had something against me but I'm not sure what. This morning, I found my locker decorated with Hello Kitty stickers. Layla wrote 'I love Hello Kitty' with curly letters on my locker door in permanent marker. What could be worse than that? She found a pop up Hello Kitty that would inflate in my face whenever I opened my locker. It was a pain in the butt to put back too.
"Looks like the slut is back," sneered a snotty Layla. "How is Jayson in tight spaces? I might have to take him up on his offer. During school works best for me. Especially when you aren't hogging him."
Layla has always had a thing for Jayson and boasts about him having sex with her all the time. It used to worry me and I'd start to freak out. Then Jayson, being the great boyfriend he is, would explain all the things Layla could be lying about. "Oh Layla. When will you ever learn..."
I slammed my locker and headed towards Jayson's, only to look up and see him standing there, watching the whole scene. I tilted my head up and smiled at him, but he looked far off.
"You wait and see Paisley. Wait and see." Layla said before walking away, shaking her butt from side to side, hoping to attract attention from boys. Layla always tried to get boys with her looks and actions. She wore way to much makeup and still looked ugly. Which is why I am paying her back for my locker, by super gluing her's shut!
I smiled to myself and turned back to Jayson. "What's up?" I asked, tilting my head up to look at him.
"The sky," he said, distractedly.
I sighed and turned to walk out the schools door, pulling him by the hand.
