Endless hours spent buried in paperwork over the weekend certainly wasn't the ideal way to spend your free time. College life was demanding, and you couldn't shake the guilt of not giving enough attention to your adorably clingy boyfriend, Jaehyun.

He was the epitome of a golden retriever-always full of life and energy. A notorious flirt, he had a knack for disarming you with his cheesy pickup lines or sweet, genuine compliments.

After what felt like an eternity of focusing on your assignment, you decided it was time for a well-deserved break. Stretching your limbs and rising from your chair, which had grown warm from your prolonged sitting, you made your way to the kitchen. As you reached for a glass to fill with refreshing water, you suddenly felt two strong arms wrap around you from behind. Of course, it was Jaehyun. He nestled his face into the side of your neck, having pushed your hair aside to get closer.

"Hey... you smell amazing today, baby..." He murmured, a playful smile lighting up his face.

"Wow... I guess what's smelling so amazing is the scent of sweat? I've been at this for three hours straight..."

He let out a soft laugh, placing a tender kiss on the skin of your neck.

"You always have such a lovely scent, you know that?"

You were quite accustomed to his playful and affectionate nature, so you simply brushed off his compliment with a warm smile. As you slipped away from his embrace, you headed back to your desk to tackle the paperwork. He pouted but trailed after you. His tall frame standing behind you, he wrapped his arms around you once more, prompting a light laugh from your lips.

"You realize I can't focus when you're being like this, right?" you whispered, shaking your head as he let out a playful scoff.

"Why would you want to focus on that when your incredible boyfriend is right here? I'm way more entertaining, you know. Plus, that boring paperwork doesn't even appreciate how stunning you look right now... Seriously, you're breathtaking, babe. Always ethereal, but today... wow..." He bit his lip, choosing not to comment on the blush creeping across your cheeks just yet.

"Once I'm done here, I promise I'll cuddle you, okay?" You let out a sigh, eager to tackle this annoying task before you could finally unwind.

He made a face, slowly pulling back and crossing his arms defensively. With that sulky expression, he resembled a child who had just been denied candy. It was hard not to chuckle at how cute he looked.

He groggily made his way to the couch, collapsing onto it and starting to mumble a sort of mantra...

"My incredible, stunningly beautiful, breathtaking, graceful, and exquisite girlfriend would rather deal with paperwork than spend time with me? I can't believe this... I adore her so much; she's my everything?!" He tsk-ed, glancing over at you to see if his little ranting sesh had made any impression.

Another sigh slipped from your lips as you recognized that he wouldn't stop his endless chatter unless you gave in to his desires. Making the decision to fulfill his craving for affection, you rose from your seat and settled onto the couch beside him, quickly pulling him into your lap. He let out a delighted squeal, instantly nestling his head into the curve of your neck, exhaling a contented sigh. You couldn't help but chuckle again as he began to mumble sweet nothings...

"my beautiful girlfriend... my stunning star... my everything... I love you."

"I love you too, Jae." You gently tuck a few silky strands of hair behind his ear.

The paperwork could certainly wait, but cuddling with Jaehyun was definitely not something to postpone, right...?

hey you all, I finally awoke from my deep author sleep and decided to surprise y'all with a request from uhhh25 which I got a long time ago but decided to do it just now because just now I got my muse. also it's quite short but it's at least something! so yeah. and it isn't him exactly being a flirt but I can't exactly recreate a flirt as I never stumbled upon one 😔
