As you may have read on my wall, I am taking Push offline on 15 December.

I want to send a heartfelt thank you to each and every reader who took the time to read Push. Whether you read one word or the literally 170,000+ I shared to tell the tale of Toby and Gwen's dysfunctional relationship, it means so much to me.

It took more than a year to complete Push. That's a lot of hours spent locked in my study away from my family, but also looking forward to chatting with you all in the comments and seeing if you'd pick up the crumbs littered throughout what was a crazy—and certainly imperfect—serialised fiction. I also saw some real growth in my writing when I was updating this book. I still look at the first chapter with a smile. I'm proud of it. I'm not always proud of exactly where the book landed and there are a hundred things I know I could've done better. I'm a work in progress!

Gwen, Toby, baby Noah, Marnie, Ian, Kayleigh, Sarah, Tanya, Liam, Elias, Romeo, Catalina, Judy, and cameos from Zach and his family—we had a cast of thousands! These characters are some of my favourites.

I'm disappointed—and angry—that book pirates put me in a position where I had to think about taking this book off Wattpad. I wrote this book FOR Wattpad as part of the Creators program. It was made to be huge and complicated and free, but still mine. Offering something for free isn't an invitation that it should be stolen. I had a whole bunch of spin-offs to share, but I'm too sad seeing thieves selling my work to risk another book on Wattpad.

Piracy is a problem facing too many writers. I wish I had an answer on how to fix it. I don't.

But thank you for sharing what has been an incredible ride! I absolutely would not have made it this far without you all.
