It's been a month since Cody and Olivia had that fight and haven't talked to her since. I have been talking to someone though! He's my new friend. His name is Brent. He moved in about a mont ago and I sorta like him but right now we are friends and I wanna keep it that way for now. He just texted me
Brent- hey come outside
Me- on my way out!
When I came out Brent was right there on the side walk waiting for me. He gave me a hug
Brent- hey Miya
Me- hey
Brent- I was wondering if you wanted to....
My heart started pounding
Brent- go out some time?
Me- yes
I said quickly
Brent- okay cool! I can come pick you up at 8 on Saturday?
Me- okay that's fine!
Brent- see you then.
Then he winked at me and drove off in his car. I put my hand on my heart and watched him Drive off. I skipped into my house and all the way upstairs. I laid down in my bed with my hand still on my heart, and I was day dreaming about Brent. Then my brother busted in my room without knocking. I would yell at him but I was still thinking about Brent.
(My brother) Josh- what are you doing?
I didn't Answer. He walked out
