Daisies

"Next time you leave your not coming back!" My mom screamed at me. I had just got back from wondering the streets for two days. Me and my mom fight alot, and whenever we fight really badly i leave the house. But i guess she's tired of doing this so thats what she said. Maybe she wants me to move out. And just maybe i will. I ran upstairs to my room, and went to rang my friend. Just before i clicked her name, i got a text message. It was from jacob,a guy i didnt like. He said 'what are you doing wondering the streets? Are you stupid?' And attached was a picture of me walking. I guess he saw me  while driving. I texted back, saying 'its a long story and im sure you dont care.'  Before i called my friend, lily. "Danielle? Dani why are you calling me at 2 in the morning? Is something wrong?" I told her about what just happened and asked her if she knew anywhere i could stay. Saldy, she said her parents dont have enough space or money to take care of her and Lily. I said thanks anyways and hung up the phone. A few minutes after, i got another text from jacob. It said 'look, i know we kinda hate each other but if you want to you can talk to me about it. Ill listen.'I replied 'if you wanna know what happened soo badly, i can meet you in the park by the daisy feild tomorrow.' He very quickly replied 'okay ill see you then, goodnight.' I wonder why he did that. He is the one who said he hated me and always will. I guess ill find out tomorrow.

It is now 11:34 am. My mom is sleeping on the couch, if im going to see jacob at the park, i have to get past her without waking her. She hates when i go out, and she always keeps me locked away in my room. I have to sneak out through the window to leave. But im going to try the front door. I tiptoe as quietly as i can past her, unlock the door, and open it. I then proceeded to close the door very slowly, and run ti the park. I get there around 11:57 and i see jacob on a bench and his car parked in the parking lot. I bet he got here quick. I sit down next to him, and it was very akward. He said hi to me, which for some reason caught me off gaurd, then I stuttered a barely audible 'hey'. He then turns his head, probably to hide a smile, and said "i, uh, I brought you a biscuit." He then handed me a macdonalds bad with a bacon,egg, and cheese biscuit inside. I said thanks and started to eat it. As i was halfway through my food he says "so, why were you walking around the streets last night?" I told him about me and my mother fighting. He then said "was she mad at you when you got home?"."she said if i leave the house again, she doesnt want me to come back" I replied. He then said that's horrible."now that i think about it, i left the house, when i get home today she is gonna tell me to pack my bags and leave. Im screwed, i have nowhere to go"i told him, starting to freak out. "Hey, calm down. I know we just started talking without insulting eachother today, but if you want to you can stay with me. I have an extra bedroom you can use.but you don't have to". Wait, wait? Did my sworn enemy just meet me at the park and offer me a room in his house? What is going on? Well, i have literally nowhere else to go but the streets so
I accepted his offer. He then smiled, and walked me to his car so we could get my stuff from my house. I gave him the address and he put it in his gps and drove to my house. When i got in my mother was not on the couch. I yelled for her, and i heard a loud swear come from upstairs. I ran up and she was in my room. Throwing everything i own into bags. I took them from her and said "i guess this is goodbye. Ill do it from here" while putting everything else into bags. I then took the bags, with a little help from jacob, and put them into his back seat. We then drove to his apartment. It took a while to get there, and we were talking the whole ride there. At one point he was making me laugh so hard i almost peed. I even forgot he is supposed to hate me, but now im starting to think he doesnt. When we got there, we grabbed all the bags in carried them up two flights of stairs. We got to the door, unlocked it, and went inside. It was a pretty nice apartment. It was clean,it was big, and he said it was cheap.we put the bags in my new room and started unpacking. In about an hour or two he had everything put away. Since it wasnt even 4 yet, we decided to go in the living room and watch a movie. We then ened up watching movies and hanging out until 2 am. It was very fun. He eventually yawned and said "danielle, im gonna head to bed. You can keep watching movies if you want.goodnight" i then decided to go to bed too and told him goodnight. Then i crawled in bed and went to sleep.

I have been living with jacob for a month, and it has been the best month of my life. My enemy became my best friend, i got a bomb house, and there isnt any arguments. Its been nothing but happy times. This morning, jacob asked if i wanted to go to get coffee then the park or something. I say sure, and we headed out. At the coffee shop, he said to me "im so happy you live with me. You make me very happy, i hope we do this forever". I laughed and said "thank you jacob, but it sounds like your saying your in love with me" and laughed again. Im not going to lie, over this month i have developed some feelings for jacob, but im sure he would never like me like that. "You think im saying im in love with you?" He said, raising his voice a little. It started to scare me, he has never done this before. "I...you... Just please get in the car" he said. Getting up and throwing his drink in the trash. I was scared, but i followed him anyways. We drove in silence, and i didnt know where we were going, until we pulled up at the park. He told me to get out and follow him, and i did. We walked for about five minutes, until we stopped, at the daisy feild."you think i love you?! Really?!" He almost yelled. I flinched, and back away from him a little bit. His tone softened, and he came closer, and said "in that case, your absolutely right. Dani, will you please be my girlfriend?" And i smiled. Tears started forming in my eyes, and he pulled out a cute little teddy bear. On the tag, it said 'a cute bear for my cute bear' i took it and put it in my bag. I then pulled him in for a great big hug.and as he started to hug me back, we fell into the daisy field.
