Part 52 Great loss.

AS chaos ensued in Beacon Hills Alex stuck to Scott and Malia's side. She was careful and Lucifer wouldn't stop reminding her to appeal to her self preservation instincts and leave. 

Alex couldn't talk to her dad, she hadn't talked to him since he kicked her out. Melissa, Lydia, Mason and Scott's dad were in the hospital. Monroe was taking over and the more she did... the angrier Alex got. 

Currently, she was standing outside Eichen house, next to a very well scented Shelby. 

She was on a call. 

"You have to get out of there!" Gabriel scolded her. 

"Not in a million years, you take care of the twins and I'm gonna kick my boyfriend's ass for not telling me he bought this car. Then I'm gonna Call Sam, Dean and Cas and ask them for suitable advise without hearing about protecting myself." Alex growled. 

"Mood Swings are dangerous in a creature such as yourself, just kill Gerard already and have it all over with." Gabriel sighed. 

"Don't you understand! I would already have if I didn't have more than just myself to worry about!" Alex growled, not realising that Scott, Malia and Peter were behind her. The latter was snaking his arms around her waist, making a small purr come from her throat. 

Alex immediately pushed him away, hung up and looked at Scott and Malia. 

"Told you." she smirked, "He wouldn't even help us if I were the one he'd be fighting for."

Alex was fearful. She kept feeling the shift in Beacon Hills and it downright terrified her. Sam, Dean and Castiel all told her to go to her home. That's all anyone who knew her biggest secret said. And she was tired of it. 

So, she'd gone for a quick shower in Peter's new suite, still aiming to avoid him. But by the time she had finished and dressed herself, Lucifer had already found her. He was the one to take her to Derek's old loft. 

"You can't keep me here!" Alex protested as Lucifer threw holy oil and mountain ash all over the exits of the building. 

"I can and I will. It is my job to take care of you and your future. Danny already agreed to keeping you here while he figures out how to deal with all this shit." Lucifer told her, a stern look in his ever flaming eyes. 

"We have to help them! I can't keep living in the fear the Anuk-Ite creates!" Alex started crying. 

"Look, your emotions are all over the place. You won't be able to think clearly.... just lay low for a while. If things get too bad... then I'll go with you to sort this shit out. Okay?" Lucifer asked, hugging her tightly. 

"Fine, just make sure Peter doesn't find us. I'm not ready to physically face him yet," she mumbled as Lucifer picked her up and carried her to Derek's bed where she fell asleep upon impact. 

It wasn't long of watching 'Criminal Minds' that they heard a very familiar knock on the doors. 

"You didn't tell anyone that I took you here, did you?" Lucifer asked, making Alex give him a bored stare, "Cuz you didn't take my phone away?" 

"I can hear both of you bickering, I just wanted to see Alex before I meet up with Scott and Malia." Deucalion's voice spoke from beyond the doors. 

"Open the god damn doors! He's on our side!" Alex scolded the hellhound who broke all seals to the loft and opened the doors for the Alpha. 

"So... the rumors are true." Deucalion's head tilted to the side as he listened intently. 

"You here to tell me to stay out of everything too? Cuz I'm getting fed up of this Bullshit." Alex growled.
