{Lucy's POV}
I pulled my comforter around my head as the cold wind rushed through the open window next to my bed. Under the covers, the world seemed to disappear around me, no one knew Lucy and I was free to be whoever I wanted to be. But these moments of bliss dont last long and eventually the squak of a blue jay tend to jolt you back to reality. Only mornings like this make me wish I could see a glimpse into the future, a peek at my destiny. But mornings like this also make me remember that I forgot to buy coffee. Again. I groaned and pulled off the warm blanket and tan to take a bath.
After my bath, I pulled on black leggings a white sweater and knee high brown boots. And threw on a scarf just in case it was a bit chilly.
"Plue! Where are you boy?" I called out curiously to my adorable puppy. Soon enough he came running.
"Go get your leash were gonna go on a walk to get me some coffee," I said in a squeaky voice. Plue scampered away in look for his leash and I took a seat on the kitchen counter. I heard Plue's tiny nails clip across the hardwood floor and was suddenly paired with a crash, a bark, and a knock at the front door. I got up and walked towards my door.I opened it and in fell a sort of tipsy Levy.
"You do realize it's only ten in the morning and your on your way to drunk?" I said. She giggled and pushed her way passed me almost falling over with the jolt of a small hiccup. I sighed and followed her into my kitchen.
"Do you want coffee or something?" I asked.
"If it has tequila in it," she said. There it was. Her weakness,Levy only drank tequila when something was bothering her. It made sense. The 'giggle' she made when she walked in was more of a snort and the hiccups were just nervous habits and the sumbling when she walked in was just plain old clumsy Levy. She wasn't drunk, but something was bothering her.At that moment Plue walked into the living room with dirt on his head and dragging his blue leash with him. It was quite comical. Levy smiled and bent down to pick up Plue.
"Its just Jet and me are having rough times with our relationship. Its always like that when I'm with Jet. I love him so much but when I'm with him nothing ever seems to get done right. What am I supposed to do Lucy?" She asked sadly. I understood. I hadn't had a boyfriend in a long time and the last one I did have was all a part of my parents plan but you know, after awhile me and my ex had become friends and I hope that if Jet and Levy break up, they can still be friends afterwards.
"Let's go get some coffee, I'm out and frankly, I think that both of us need it. And I think Plue wants us to go on a walk with him," I said with a smile as the dogs ears pricked up at the word of 'walk'.I hooked plues leash to his collar and strode out the door with a pouting levy. We walked a bit slower that I usually do, but levy seemed in no hurry to get out of the breeze. In a sudden need to change the mood I mentioned something worth mentioning, "What happened to that Gajeel guy you used to hang out with at the that one place,"
"Its called Center of the Arts, he was there for Martial Arts and I was there entering one of my poems in a competition. He bought me coffee at Fiore Brew after he accidentally ran into me and my poem floated into the river." She looked at the frozen river happily, momentarily forgetting about her boyfriends troubles. I looked at the river,wondering if we were looking at the same spot of shiny ice, thinking that it must be too shiny for such a day. Then my thoughts transfered to a man planting some type of flower. Then I thought Levy must have seen it too, for it was odd for someone to plant a flower in the middle of winter, there crazy. I was going to say something but was cut off short by a hard compact thing."Ow what the hell was that?" I rubbed my sore chest absentmindedly but that pain was then coupled with a burning feeling of hot coffee which was now soaking my white sweater. I heard Levy gasp and then look at the thing I ran into. Well not as much as a thing as it was a person. A breath hitched in my throat as I saw the pink haired boy from the coffee shop who looked a bit out of breath and now embarrassed as he glimpsed down at my now see through sweater. Great. I crossed my arms over my see through chest area and mumbled an apology. He nodded and looked almost anywhere but at me. I covered most of my chest and my now see-able blue bra with one hand as I extended the other to shake hands.
"Lucy, I think we've met before," I said awkwardly. He looked at first confused, but then relieved.
"Natsu, and yeah I yelled at Gay for creeping you out, he's a total per by the way."
I smiled, liking that this was probably the first guy I have ever met that wouldn't look at my boobs if they were see-able through my shirt. A few minutes passed after Levy said she would meet me back at my place later. Natsu and I had already exchanged numbers and joked about how I should probably never wear white around him ever again. We laughed and decided that we should hang put sometime.
"But you definitely owe me a coffee," Natsu commented cheekily. I rolled my eyes.
"If anything you owe me a new white sweater,"
"Maybe you should have looked where you were going," he said.
I laughed and punched him playfully in the shoulder. I looked at my watch and saw that it was already noon.
"Crap, I have to go meet a friend! Bye Natsu, I'll see you around," I shouted as I ran away from the pink haired boy and weaved my way through the now crouded streets of Fiore.
