"S-stop!" I cried as I felt another punch to the gut as laughing could be heard throughout the hallway "please I-it hurts!" I whimpered as it all stopped. "We will see you tomorrow twitchy!" The bullied called as he walked away with his so called 'friends' walked with him I felt the tears run down my once dry face as I slid down the wall and slumped over and tucked my knees to my chest and started to cry even harder "a-are you okay?" A voice called I stopped crying and tilted my head upwards a little to see a boy with brown hair orange-y yellow goggles and a brown sweater brown pants and two hatchets attactched to his belt "y-yeah" I shyly said "oh well what's a pretty little girl like you doing on the floor crying than?" He said jokingly "I'm not that young!" I snarled as he knelt down to my height "okay! Well do you need help with uh that?" He asked pointing to my books and stuff spread across the floor "I uh um...sure" I said as he stood up and expanded a hand towards me I looked at it before hesitantly taking it he helped me up and we both cleaned up the mess and he handed me my bag and we walked down the hallway and we almost made it past the stupid office but the principal stopped us "dear Alex who might this be?" The principal asked gesturing towards this strange boy who I yet to know the name of still, "her cousin" the boy hissed and grabbed my hand dragging me out of the school "thanks" I said looking at the ground as we walked down the side walk "the pleasure is mine Alex!" He said as he still held my hand "um I still don't uh know your name?" I asked as he looked at me and laughed "oh sorry I'm Toby! But don't tell your mommy or daddy about me, okay?" He said as we made it to my street. My house was the last house and a gigantic forest lay behind it and a mile beside it so yeah. We approached my house still on the side walk and let go of my hand and knelt down to my size and placed his hands gently on my shoulders "have a good day Alex!" He said kissing my little forehead moving strands of my brown hair behind my ear. I started to cry a little "b-but Toby I don't want you to go!" I Crüe as he pulled me into a hug "shhh Alex it ok I will see you soon!" He said as he rubbed my back dodging my backpack "o-okay" I sniffles as he stood back up and patted my head "until next time!" He said and watched my turn and walk up to my house and onto the front door steps and looked back to see Toby standing there watching me I gave a slight wave and opened the door and closed it taking off my shoes and heading up stairs since I knew my father wouldn't have wanted to see me...I opened the door and sighed looking at my small single bed, my little dresser and and a window with a view of the forest behind me, I was an only child. "Dear are you home?" My mother called up the stairs I turned oaround and dropped my book bag on the floor and stood in front of the door "yeah!" I called as I lazily laid on my bed "okay pick a toy and get ready to go to your 'specail meeting'" she said as I heard my father mumble something. I sighed and rolled over to see a small stuffed bear I smiled slightly and grabbed him and walked down stairs and slipped my little shoes on as my hair went in my face. I stood up and tucked my left bangs behind my ear and waited for my mom to come. "Okay Hun all set?" She asked appearing from the kitchen "yeah" I said as I stared blankly at the wall "c'mon then honey" she said as we walked out the door and to our small car, I waited for her to unlock the car door and looked off into the woods wondering if Toby was there, I heard the click of the car door unlocking and pulled it open jumping in the vehicle and closing my door and set my teddy bear on my lap as I pulled my seat belt down and clicked it in "now you have to be very nice to the person, okay Alex?" My mother asked as we pulled out of the drive way "Mmhmmm" I hummed as I just stared blankly out of the window and started to twitch uncontrollably and my neck cracked in an awkward position "oh dear this is definitely getting worse!" My mom said as she drove a little faster. It didn't hurt as much as it should have, I mean It was a quick pain then went away "it's okay mommy I'm all better now" I said as she gripped the stealing wheel "o-okay honey" he falsely smiled. I looked at my teddy bear and the car stopped making me drop him but I looked up to see that we were parked In the all too familiar parking lot, of the hospital for special needs people like me. I unbuckled myself and bent down to pick my bear up but I was yanked out of the car so fast in pretty sure i suffered from whiplash! "C'mon dear we don't want to be late!" She said as he dragged me into the hospital and we reached the till thing "how can I help you ma'am?" The lady asked "oh this is Alex for her 'Special Meeting'" my mother said whispering the last part "oh in that case follow me" the lady said standing up and walking out from behind the counter and down a very long hallway and led us to a special room and opened a door where I saw a small ish table with a nice looking lady and an empty seat. I heard the door shut but I didn't really seem to care I just walked up to the chair and sat down and immediately zoned out but was still listening "hello dear I'm miss hardy and I'm going to ask you a few questions and all I ask of you is to answer them honestly okay?" She asked I slowly nodded and she smiled warmly "okay now how old are you?" She asked as she pulled out a clipboard and pen clicking it and pushing up her glasses "s-seven" I said still zoned out "okay" she mumbled writing something down on the clipboard, "okay darling when is your birthday?" She asked and watched me "December uh 23" I said as she wrote something else down "now who do you immediately think of when I say family?" She asked I went from zoned out back to reality "m-my mommy and stupid dad" I snarled gripping my pants at the last part "okay and that's all for today my girl! Thanks for answering honestly and you can leave now!" She said as I stood from my chair and walked over to the door to be greeted by my mother " I just need to talk to the nice lady honey I will be right back out!" She said as she slipped through the door and I sat waiting in the chair swinging my legs back and fourth and the door suddenly opened and I saw my mom smiling and waving goodbyes I the lady and she closed the door and looked at me tears filling her eyes "m-mommy?" I asked as the room my hand and we walked down the hall and out into the parking lot and she stopped and hugged me tightly "I'm sorry you have to live this way my baby!" She cried "it's okay mommy I love you" I said hugging back she laughed as she put me into the car and buckled me, I looked down to see my teddy exactly where I dropped him I smiled and picked him up as mom got into the car and drove away, I was looking out side and drifted off to sleep....
