It was midafternoon before May woke up. Keiran and (F/n) were in the forge, and Keiran continued to work on the first arm for (F/n). Hearing the sound of his work, May knew exactly where to find them both. Knocking on a wooden beam, she caught both of their attention. "Good afternoon, I slept longer than I expected," she voiced, Keiran acknowledging her with a nod of his head while he continued to work. Knowing that it wasn't rudeness from Keiran, simply concentration, she glanced over to (F/n), who returned her greeting. "(F/n), do you have some time to talk?"

"Yeah, of course." She chuckled lightly, and May knew that the laugh wasn't one of amusement. "I can't really do too much else." (F/n) signaled with her head to the empty chair beside her.

"I meant somewhere else." That gave Keiran pause. She rolled her eyes. "We're just going to get to know each other better, Keiran. You can move her too. She's probably spent enough time with you in the forge just watching you for a lifetime." May crossed her arms and quirked a brow when Keiran didn't answer at first.

"Keiran, I'll be fine." He sent a concerned look her way since he never liked to be too far from her. (F/n) simply gave him a reassuring smile back. "We're not leaving the home, Keiran. Besides, I wanted to ask you something May," she mentioned, her attention now turning onto her.

"Very well. Just keep an eye on her." Keiran set down his tools and headed over to (F/n), lifting her up. "And, (F/n) tell May if you need me, okay?"

"I will." She smiled to him again, and he sighed in acceptance before he headed inside with her. May followed. "The living room should be fine." (F/n) looked around Keiran to May. "That'll be fine with you, right?"

"Yes, that'll do."

Once (F/n) was seated, both women looked to Keiran who raised his arms in surrender and huffed. "I'm going. I have work to do anyway." He sent a glare towards May. "Don't interrogate her."

"I won't." May crossed her arms again and waited for him to head off. He did so begrudgingly. Once he was gone, May waited for a moment to make sure that he really was. When she didn't hear a noise, she nodded in satisfaction, especially when she heard him working in the forge once more. Taking a seat across from (F/n), May asked, "So, what did you want to ask me?"

"Well, don't you want to ask me first? It sounds like you really wanted to talk to me."

"I do, but nothing too important." She leaned back on her seat and smiled. "I just want to get to know you more." Her eyes glanced off to the fireplace. It wasn't lit yet, so May stood up and went to work on changing that since the room was cold. As she tended to the fire, she continued, "I thought it'd help relax us both unless you wanted to spend more time with Keiran in the forge."

"No," (F/n) reassured, a light laugh escaping her. "I actually had a similar thought before you got back."

"Perfect. So before we get into my questions," May looked back for a moment before she went back to the flames, "what did you want to ask me?"

"Well," she started, unsure how May would take the request, "I was wondering if you could help me bathe." When she didn't answer right away, (F/n) continued, "It's fine if you're uncomfortable with it. It's just Keiran couldn't, well neither of us wanted him to, clean my more private parts."

A chuckle escaped May before she began to laugh. She stood up and leaned against the fireplace, an amused smile on her lips. May was certain that Keiran wouldn't mind if (F/n) requested him to, but he was respectful enough not to even hint at that. That man could hide his emotions very well at times. "Yes, I imagine that'd be awkward for you. But yes, I can. I don't mind." She pushed herself off of the wall. "And if you ever want me to, I can help you with your other tasks when I'm around unless you prefer his help."
