San Yi climbs down the carriage behind Xi lan and looks around the the Lan palace in awe. This palace is made of stones. There is different carving on each stones.

Every wall of this palace has different architecture. It will take someone's single glance to know how much Xi lan values beauty. San Yi doesn't belong here. He mood sours with every step he takes inside the palace.

"This ring !"

Sn Yi looks up hearing a sharp female voice.

His eyes fell on a beautiful woman standing in front of him "huh ?"

"This ring doesn't suit you. It will look good on me. How much does it cost ?"

San Yi looks at the ring in his finger. He blinks. It's just a casual ring. Maybe, he had it when he was in Zi kingdom. He looks up at the woman "I .. don't know."

"Tell me the cost. I will pay you double."

"I really don't know."

The woman raises her eyebrow "You have an attitude." .

"Uff ! Halida, why do you always want someone's used product." Another beautiful woman pushed the previous woman to stand in front of San Yi.

"Don't mind her. She likes to steal too much. Just five years ago she stole my husband. You shouldn't mind her. Also you shouldn't be like her."

San Yi blinks. Why he got the flashback of Afreen. The same creepy smile, the same sweet warnings.

San Yi gulps "I am ... San Yi."

"I am queen Ruru. She is consort Halida. Of course, you have heard about us. Haven't you ?"

San Yi looks around his room in an awe. He never thought he would get such a big and luxurious room.

"Do you like it ?"

San Yi looks at Ruru. He nods a little.

Ruru smiles "this room is just beside his highness's room. Only His highness's most favourite consort can live in this room."

San Yi gulps "then ... W..why am I here ?"

"This is your room for now. After all, his highness wants to marry you." Ruru explains.

San Yi hears the gasps and whispers from outside the room. He looks at the long passage hall outside the room. So many beautiful ladies are gathered there, gossiping among themselves.

Suddenly San Yi's heart beats first. This room is big and luxurious, of course but somehow he isn't liking the way Queen Ruru is giving her this room.

"Why doesn't queen Ruru live in this room ? I mean ...queen is so beautiful.." San Yi tries to understand.

"Aw, Thank you for the flattery, San Yi. But I was not the most beautiful consort of his highness. Queen Afreen was."
