Chapter 4

Manuel's POV

'That was freaky, how can Flora read what I'm thinking' I thought to myself still freaked out.

'What if she's still reading my mind now?' I thought getting more freaked out.

When I finally arrived at the canteen I bought food and sat at a table eating happily.

"Hillo Manuel!" Someone greeted me.

I instantly knew whose voice it belonged to.

"Hi Marie. Do you mean Hello? Or Hi?" I asked her while laughing at her choice of words.

"I think it's better to sa Hillo because it's a combination of Hi and Hello." Marie told me.

"Whatever Marie." I told her while rolling my eyes at her.

"I gotta go Manuel. Bye." Marie said waving.

I waved back and continued to eat my food.

'Mmmm... This is so yummy' I thought.

I haven't noticed that I already finished what I was eating. I glanced at my empty container of food sadly and decided to throw it in the trash can. I went back to seat at my table and started to whine to myself.

"Uggghhhhh... I'm still hungggrryyyy" I groaned while grabbing my pen and started to twirl it around.

"I wish I still had some food." I said to myself.

I noticed that there was a sudded shift of weight from the pen that I was twirling earlier.

"What the Fudge?!" I exclaimed shock that the pen I was holding earlier was not there anymore but instead a bar of chocolate was now at my hands.

I tried looking for my pen but sadly I couldn't find it. I was getting too distracted from the chocolate bar at my hand.

"Whatever. I'll just buy a new pen." I said to myself as I opened the packet of the chocolate bar and taking a big bite out of it.

Marie's POV

"Manuel's such a glutton" Denise said

"What's a gluton anyway?" I asked.

"It's glutton not gluton" Denise corrected.

"Whatever." I replied.

I started to block out Denise because she was starting to annoy me.

I sat down at the field and took out my plain boring notebook and started to doodle random things.

"Hey Marie!!" A cheerful voice said.

"Oh, Hi Riane!" I replied with a smile.

"Hey, cool notebook" Riane complimented.

I glanced down at my plain notebook only to find out it has suddenly changed into a sparkly pink notebook that has the name "Marie" on it spelled out by shiny gems.

"Thanks?" I said slightly confused on how my plain notebook changed into this cool notebook.

"Hey, I got to go. Bye Marie." Riane said.

"Bye Riane" I said still looking at my notebook confused.
