3rd Person's POV

The door is slammed open and in walked Louis, looking like he owned the place.

He immediately plonks himself down next to an unfazed Liam, who takes an amused look at the boy, before shaking his head and refocusing back on his program.

"Oh" Louis raised an eyebrow "So no hi Lou? No, how are you doing today?"

"Ed, Louis is here!" Liam shouted to his flat mate, not bothering to answer the boy sat next to him.

"Alright Li" Ed's voice answered back from somewhere, probably from the kitchen.

Louis just glared at Liam, hoping he would successfully burn holes into the side of his head  "Your just evil"

"I do try"

Seconds later Ed exited the kitchen, with cereal bowl in hand "Hey Lou"

"Hello my little Gingerbread"

Ed chuckled, taking a seat on the recliner chair "You do know I'm taller than you right?"

Louis looked him up and down, before shaking his head in disagreement.

"I think he is" Liam joined in, taking his attention off the TV - just for a slight second I might add.

"You're 5ft 8, I'm 5ft 9 so technically that makes me taller" Louis argued, folding his arms across his stomach.

"And you" Louis pointed a finger at Liam "You aren't allowed an opinion in this, so go back to watching your program"

Ed laughed at their smallish friend, while Liam turned off the tv and joined the conversation - even after Louis' warning.

"Like hell you are, more like 5ft 1" Ed stated, showing Louis how tall he was with his thumb and index finger.

Liam shook his head at his ginger friend "No make that 4ft Ed"

Louis pouted, sinking further into the sofa. He knew it was useless to argue with these two.

The pair laughed again, before finally quieting down.

"So what actually happened today?"

This seemed to brighten Louis' spirits, as he immediately jumped to his feet.

"Well I got talking to Harry and told him about that rumour, which was fake obviously" Louis shrugged, like he wasn't controlling his friends love life.

"So to test my theory on the pair liking each other, I leant super close to whisper the rumour in Harry ear and when I leant back, I saw Niall sending me death stares from the other side of the room" Louis explained his findings excitedly "And then Niall stormed out of the canteen, with Harry following minutes later"

Ed looked shocked, while Liam looked slightly unconvinced "Are you sure he was looking directly at you and Harry?"

"Positive, there wasn't anyone around us he could look at"

"Alright it just seems like it's too easy"

Ed nodded in agreement, to his roommate statement "Liam's right, shouldn't it be harder to get them together?"

"Why are you two complaining, do you want it to be a challenge or something"

"I guess not" Liam laughed, getting to his feet "Anyway I've gotta go to work-"
