Love in War

Chapter 4

It was dark,and we were still on the tree.Conor looked at me with his hands pointing to the ground.He got down first checking to see if the coast is clear,then lifted his arms up to catch me down.We were down i could hear his heart beating so loud while we were walking quietly in the valley.

Then a helicopter came flying over the valley.We just kneeled down in the deep grass,waiting for the helicopter to pass.The helicopter didn't move,it was just flying there in place,and we were frozen on the dirty ground.

Conor said''Don't worry just stay still'',with a fear in his voice.Helicopter started landing in the middle of the valley just meters away from us.Conor grabbed my hand and we hid behind piles of earth.We lay down behind it and we shook.Helicopter landed.We covered our eyes because of the dirt that was flying  in every direction.Helicopter propellers stopped working.The soldiers ran out of it.Five soldiers ran in the street going towards houses and buildings.Three soliders were standing in front of the helicopter talking.Soon after two of them started walking randomly through the valley.I looked at Conor with fear and tears in my eyes.There was no escaping.....
