Aurora's POV:
Dear Diary,
Today. Today was the day that I would see my parents again, after ten long months at school. At least I would be able to see my home, my little brother, and my puppy again. I don't know how I will do when I see them. I guess I will just have to suck it up like I always do, and act like the perfect teenage girl that they think I am.
"We will be landing in about 20 minutes." I hear Ralph say. Ralph is our personal jet flyer- crazy, I know. He always picks Jasmine and I up from Tarion after school lets out for the summer.
I finish journaling as the seatbelt light comes on. I buckle up. Then I turn towards Jasmine. "I'm not looking forward to this," I say with a sneer. "Hey, I know, we just have to suck it up like always, yeah?"
I shook my head reluctantly and let out an exasperated sigh.
Today was going to be a very long day.
