Stacey hates Jhoanna.

She hates seeing Jhoanna's fancy logo gracing the billboard advertisements.

She hates seeing Jhoanna's pretty black hair when she attends  some fashion shows.

The point was, Stacey just despises the woman.

She was too good of a competitor in the elegant halls of the fashion industry, Stacey prefers to crush her competitors into oblivion not actually compete with them.

Stacey's hatred wasn't unrequited either.

She hates Jhoanna, and Jhoanna hates her too.

In fact, Jhoanna makes this known by rolling her eyes whenever they have to walk past each other.

As rude as their behaviors can be, Stacey can live with it.

Stacey''s a CEO of a luxury fashion house;so being hated isn't new to her.
But feelings are.

Stacey was invited by an after-party of a mutual friend's store opening.

"Who's that?" Stacey asks Maloi.

Maloi, Stacey's  assistant, answers within ten seconds. "That's Jhoanna," she replies, seemingly confused.

"No, not her. Who's her date?"

"Oh, her date?" Maloi clears her throat.
"That's Aiah, she's a model."

Stacey watches the pair from afar as a strange feelings swirl in her chest.

Jhoanna was wearing the latest of her clothes, of course, because she never wears anything from last season.

Her long black hair was slickback and fitted her hotly.

Those black locks that made her sex appeal stronger, which drew attention to her figure.

And the crook of her arm was adorned with Aiah's hand a stunning model with gorgeous features and wavy black hair.

Stacey didn't pay attention to Jhoanna's date, though.

Instead, she was staring at where the two were touching.

“How's the party?"

Stacey's thoughts were interrupted by Sheena whom was beaming at Maloi and her.

"Colet invited more people,” Maloi say" I think it will be a mess"

"It's a great party,” Stacey replies, still looking towards Jhoanna and Aiah.

"Right?" Sheena agrees. "This party is awesome so dont worry. By the way, did you see the lollipops? I ordered them in heart shapes, and they are so adorable-"

"Is Jhoanna dating someone?”Stacey interrupts, still distracted by her rival and her rival's date.

"I don't think so. Well, not that I know of,"
Sheena replies, but as she says these words.

Aiah leans closely to Jhoanna's ear and whispers something, the younger breaks into a smile, and somehow, that annoyed Stacey.

"How come you didn't find a date for me?" Stacey questions Maloi.

"Well-I-I-I," Maloi stammers at Stacey’s sudden change of mood. "You said you didn't want a plus-one in the first place, so I didn't find you a date.”

Stacey can only huff a breath of frustration.

Maloi peers over at her boss with concern, and Sheena goes off to greet other guests,
but Stacey remains irritated.
