Small talk

Donya POV

When we arrived at school Bret came over and opened the door for me.

“ohh Bret so you finally got the guts to talk to her.” His friend Alex said.

“gee thanks guys!” He responded with a slight chuckle.

Hey Donya come here Alex's girlfriend, Jessie said. I told Bret I would be right back. She asked me if I was invited to the party and we made small talk about who was going to be their. Mostly all Vampires. As we ended our conversation she asked me if I wanted to come over her house and get ready for the party that night. I agreed but I told her I would have Bret drop me off  at 6:00pm to get ready, the party started at 8:00pm.  Brett wanted me to come over after school. Alex and I both said our goodbyes and gave a girly bff hug and headed to class.

*Lunch*

I was headed to lunch, all the doms were running to save their table. I sat next to Chris and some new kid, Well he wasn’t really new he went to our school but he hasn’t sat at our table in a long time. His name was Matt Patlan but he liked to be called “bats.” Everyone at the table was kinda ignoring him so I scooted closer to him from being glued to Chris’ side to slightly touching Matt.

“Hey!” he said.

“Hi” I said.

“Where you invited to Brets party?” he asked nervously.

“Yah! You?”

“Yup” We finished off with that because Chris wanted me to come with him somewhere.

*outside, School has ended*

"Hey Donya" Bret said as I walked over to his car. I responded with a slight hey. The drive to his house was filled with small talk in the air. We arrived at the house. He came around to open the door.

“Hey do you want to order some pizza and maybe eat outside?”

“Sure that sounds like fun!” We ordered pizza and drinks and talked about all the doms who might find who they think are there mates at the party. He showed me what he was going to wear to the party and even though I never had feelings like that for him, I could tell he was going to look really good tonight. After a little while we went inside and watched t.v. The atmosphere was a little serious so I decided to have some fun with him.

“Bret I’m a drunk girl at the party trying to give you a lap dance. What are you gonna do? Let me dance or reject me?” I asked playing around with him.

“Well it depends on who the girl is.”

“Umm...Alex's’ girlfriend!”

“What no I wouldn’t do that to him. So reject. Fine let me ask you a question! He said laughing. Do you know Matt Patlan?”

“Yah” I said

“Well he’s drunk and trying to make out with you..what do you say?” he asked.

“It might be a yes he’s kinda cute.”

“oh really.”he said looking hurt..or...even jealous. This game was starting to die out but it was ok because it was 5:30pm and I still had to get my clothes and makeup packed because I was going to get ready for the part at Jesse's house. I told him I thought I should be heading home, he asked me if  I needed a ride and I gladly said yes.
