"So tell us Jewel are you excited for the Masquerade Ball tonight?" the women from the interview asked

"Yes! Of coarse I am very very excited about tonight, I can't wait" Jewel explained

"You're always surprising us with amazing things, and we've all waited so long for this dance. Tell us why a Masquerade Ball? " the women asked again

"Well due to the obvious fact that I perform with a mask on I thought it would be good for people to experience for one day what I experience everyday" Jewel explained "and I'm also taking advantage of this dance and donating all the money we get to different causes"

"That is just wonderful" the women said "and that's all with you today can't wait to see you tonight"

"CUT!" yelled the director "that was great guys"

"We have to get to another event Jewel, let's go" Paul said to Jewel

"I'm sorry but I have to go, it was really nice being with you on the show" Jewel told the interviewer and left

Jewel and Paul walked out the building and got into the car where Connie was waiting for them.

"Do I really have another event. I thought you said you canceled everything so I can get time to get ready for the Ball tonight" Jewel whined

"You think we don't know you little girl! We've been working for you for years. That was the excuse to get you out fast, if not you know they all talk and talk and you never get out." Connie explained

"Oh yea it makes sense now" Jewel smiled "thanks guys"

The car left them at Paul's house where Jewel had all her showbis stuff and people thought that was her house. Paul is Jewel's manager and so is Connie but they know her way before she started he career as a singer. They are best friends since high school. Connie and Paul are only a year older than Jewel so they all treat each other like siblings.
Once inside the house Connie helped Jewel get out of her costume, they all prepared to get a full body massage. Then they enjoyed the afternoon sun to tan by the pool.

"Turtle called" Connie said

"What! We broke up like a month ago" Juliet said

"You date the weirdest girls" Paul commented

"Who else was weird?" she asked

"Turtle, slow American girl that was an obsessed stalker of Jewel's. May I remind you she almost caught you" he explained

"Very true" Connie seconded "your first girlfriend ever in high school. That girl acted like she just came out of The Walking Dead by the way she acted"

"Everyone except Roshni" Paul said

Jewel's eyes watered at the sound of her name. "I'm over her, she's gone now" she said with a blank stare

"You don't fool me, you still love her" Paul said

Juliet started remembering the amazing time she spent with Roshni in her past, how she asked the girl to marry her yet their relationship ended up in a tragic end.

"No one will ever make me feel the way she did" she commented with tears coming down her eyes but a smile on her face

After that they went to get ready for the ball that night. Jewel wore her personal favorite black mask to go with her dress. She wore a gold corset long dress, custom with glitter and black designs at the end of the dress. The dress was inspire by one of her favorite paintings from "D".
"A Golden Night" was the painting called, it involved a women with her eyes closed but wrapped around a golden piece of clothing that shined and had small black designs like the one on Jewel's dress. What Jewel enjoyed about the painting is that the women looked like a goddess with her dark brown hair and the golden color looked beautiful with her skin. She always wondered what inspired D to paint such beautiful paintings.
