Sydney and I rode home in peace and silence, we were both tired. I was going home an hour earlier than I was expected to be home. Syd asked if I wanted to stay over, but I wasn't feeling up to it. I love her and all, but I was tired as hell.
I went up to my room after I was dropped off and thanked Syd and her mom.My room, for some strange reason, was the coolest part of the house in the summer, but colder in the winter, but I didn't mind. I got used to sleeping with the fan on always and with two comforters on my bed every night; it was cozy.
I turned on my spotify playlist titled "Ultimate Playlist" because let's face it, it's playlist goals. Just kidding, its really not. I could go from jamming out to Beyonce's "7/11" to Drake's "Know Yourself" to Green Day's "Jesus of Suburbia" and 5 Seconds of Summer's "She's Kinda Hot." There's a bunch of music that's not even related to each other at all to be quite honest.

Once i was all ready to go to bed, I heard a door open and then shut, followed but stern talking and yelling. I stood outside my bedroom door to listen. "Where have you been! You were supposed to be home at 5!" I overheard my mom yell to I'm guessing my dad. "Kristen, I had some late errands to run." He replied. I crawled on the ground to see my mom shaking her head.
"A phone call or a text would've been nice! You've been doing this every night almost! I'm tired of you scaring me thinking something bad has happened! Eric, I'm tired of it, I'm done." I could hear the annoyance in my mom's voice. I never heard them at night, unless they were outside. "Wait, what do you mean you're done?" My father asked.
"I'm leaving tomorrow morning with the kids." And my mother started for the stairs so ran back into my room and slammed the door, not caring who heard.

My mom wasn't kidding when she said she was leaving, but it was actually a couple days afterwards so we could pack and so my mom could find an apartment. I didn't want to go, but I had no choice.
It took us only about 3-5 minutes to get to our new apartment because we had to stay in the district. When I got out of the car and into the apartment, it was nothing like how I imagined it honestly. It was really nice.
When you walked in, you walked into a nice kitchen with granite counter tops and a nice white refrigerator. It had an island and when you went to your left, the dining room was there, and to the right of the kitchen was the master bedroom and bath. Out of the kitchen was a huge living room and to the left was one bedroom, and the right had another one, both had their own bathrooms.
I called first pick on the bedroom so I inspected both of them and chose the left side because it seemed bigger. There were already beds in each of the rooms, but they were singles but a queen in the master. But they just needed sheets. I moved my bed against the wall and the desk and dresser that was already here.
Mom said only bring what was important because we still had to find a house but this will make do for now. I liked how my room looked. I started to dig through my electronic box that had my computer and chargers in it, but I forgot my phone charger. Shit.
"Mom!" I yelled, "I left my charger at the old house, I'm going to get it. Going on Pennyboard!" I shouted and left. I kinda felt like that little girl in the picture of the phone battery at 1% and the girl's running as if she's going to the charger.
I got to I guess my dad's house now and heard people inside so I quietly opened the door. It was a woman's voice and I think it was from the living room. I darted to the staircase as quickly and quietly as I could to get my charger. Once I got it, I stood in the open hallway above the kitchen to listen.
"They're not coming back are they?" I heard the women say. I still didn't know who it was or who it would've been. "No they shouldn't be anytime soon." My dad was cheating on my mom. I couldn't swear to it, but I think that's why we left. The woman chuckled, "So this all worked out. All the sneaking around paid off didn't it."
I needed to leave. I ran down the stairs to the door. "Aspyn? What are you doing?" I heard my dad spoke so I stopped right in my tracks. I debated whether to leave or answer him. "I'm just leaving and never coming back so you can carry on with cheating on mom and lying to us."
I skated back to the house and I was hoping never to go back to that house ever again. I hope he feels guilty and like an asshole.

Almost one month since we moved into the apartment. Almost one month since my mom, caleb and I left my dad. Almost one month since I found out my dad has been cheating on my mom and lying to us, yet I haven't told Caleb and my mom. I haven't felt the same ever since then.
Mom has been telling me that Sydney and my new friend Emma can come over every Friday since Caleb goes out too. And they have been coming over. They help, they get things off my mind, but usually all the thoughts come back immediately. It just doesn't seem real at all yet. And it has almost been one month.
Sydney is coming over tonight since Mom is going out with some of her friends tonight. She poked her head through the door to tell me she was leaving. "Aspyn? I'm leaving now. Don't let anyone in unless it's Syd or the pizza guy. Love you, have fun."
She headed towards the door right as it rang. I assumed it was Sydney so I walked out of my room and stood in the door frame. "Oh hey Sydney, Aspyn is..." mom turned my way to point her back to my room, "right there! Alright well I'd better get going. I won't be home until late tonight. Probably after midnight and sometime before 2:30, goodbye!" And then she went.

Well the pizza came, so we ate that. But Sydney said she brought something with her and then she pulled out some beer and lime-a-ritas. I gaped at the drinks. "Are you serious?" I half laughed. She handed me a lime-a-rita and it was bitter and first, but I liked the citrusy taste.
"I also told Jack and Colton to come over too. So we could have a bit more fun." She grinned and rose an eyebrow at her. She laughed, "Not like that!!" Right then, the doorbell rang and Jack and Colton came in.
My night was about to get pretty interesting.
