The bustling airport hummed with a symphony of sound-luggage wheels rattling across tiled floors, muffled announcements echoing through the cavernous space, and the persistent chatter of travelers weaving through the crowd. The air carried the faint aroma of coffee and jet fuel, mingling with the cool, sterile scent of air conditioning. Moonlight poured through expansive glass windows, casting long, silver beams onto the polished floor, where hurried footsteps reflected like fleeting shadows.

Amid the ordered chaos, a peculiar figure emerged from the crowd, weaving through the throng with an almost feline grace. Messy short ebony hair cascaded down her nape like a stream of ink, framing a face as pale and luminous as moonlight itself. She moved with a confidence that bordered on mischievous, her blue eyes glinting with a spark of mischief as she smirked at no one in particular. Leo, as she was known, had the kind of presence that drew attention without trying-like a sudden gust of wind disrupting an otherwise tranquil scene.

"It's good to be back," muttered the girl. "Although, I will surely miss the homey feels of Philippines, especially with its freedom. Japan makes me feel awfully restrained." Leo sighed wistfully, though the glint of joy in her eyes could not be missed.

Suddenly, a snort emitted from her. "Musta na kaya yung dalawang kupal?" ("I wonder how those two jerks are doing?") She wondered, her words uttered with an underlying impish scheme. "Seriously, ghosting me for a week. They're gonna pay for it."
