So I'm in the hospital and my mom just went into shock. I hope she's gonna be okay. I don't wanna loose her.
I get a text from Shay.
Babyyyy💘: Look I can't deal with this anymore. I think we should stop our relationship.
Me: What do you mean? I thought we were happy. You can't do this to me.
Babyyyy💘: We fight to much and it's not good. I think we just need to split up for awhile. I'm sorry.
Me: Why are you leaving me?!
Babyyyy💘: I just told you! We fight to much. If you want this phone back you can have it. You can kick me out of your house.
Me: Keep the phone because I wanna be able to talk to you. And I don't want you to leave. We will be like best friends. Right?
Babyyyy💘: Right! Don't worry Kayy. I still love you.
Me: I love you too!
Shay's P.O.V
Me: Right! Don't worry Kayy. I still love you.
Babeeee❤️: I love you too!
It was hard doing that but I think it's the right thing to do. We both just need a break from each other.
I love Kayy with all my heart though and don't want her to forget that. She means the world to me even if we are best friends.

Kayy's P.O.V
It's been 2 months since Shay and me split up. We talk every now and then but it doesn't feel the same.
She moved out and I don't know where she is staying.
I've been dating this guy Luke for awhile now. He's moved in with me.
I do miss Shay a lot. Who's knows what she's up to. Whenever we text it's just a hey and what's up. Nothing special.
I decide to text her. (Out of the blue)
Me: Hey
She replied in no time. Must have been on her phone.
Shay😞: Hi
Me: What you been up to?
Shay😞: Just been chilling
Me: Sounds fun. I was thinking maybe we could meet up and catch up on things?
Shay😞: Uhh. Sure. Tomorrow? Park at 1:00?
Me: Sure. Sounds great! See ya
She didn't reply afterwards.
It might be awkward. Who knows. I'm not pulling anything.
Shay's P.O.V
So I just finished texting Kayy and she wants to meet tomorrow. I'm gonna go for it.
We haven't seen each other in awhile so let's see how it goes.
Next day...
Kayy's P.O.V
I wake up next to Luke at 11:00. I kiss him on his forehead since he's sleeping and jump in the shower. I get dressed and make myself some food.
It's already 12:00. I got an hour to spare. I sit down and watch some tv.
Shay's P.O.V
I wake up at 11:30 and hop in the shower. I get dressed and eat some food.
By now it's already 12:30 so I got a half an hour. I take a little nap.
I wake up at 12:50. I throw my shoes on and grab my phone. I then head out to my car.
I text Kayy.
Me: On my way now. Be there in 5.
Kayy🙊: Same here.
Kayy's P.O.V
I'm on my way to the park. I notice that the car in front of me is Shay's. Isn't that a coincidence.
We pull into the parking lot at the same time. She rolls her window down so I do the same.
"Hey Kayy! Why don't we sit in my car. It's pretty hot out and I got AC."
"Umm ok! Be right there."
I get out my car and join Shay in hers. We both sit in the back seat because it's more comfortable for us.
"So how have you been Kayy?"
"I've been good. I have met this guy and we have been together for awhile now. How about you?"
"That's good and I've just been living life. Missing you."
Shay looks away.
"I've been missing you too. It's been hard for us."
"Yeah! It sure has."
"You seem happy though Shay!"
"If only you see what I've been doing."
"You know you shouldn't be doing drugs again. It's only gonna hurt you."
"I know Kayy but it keeps you off my mind."
"Stop! Don't say that. I'm always with you."
Shay leans in. Oh no. Should I do this? I'm with Luke. What should I do?
I lean in too. Our lips meet. It's been so long but I feel a spark as if we still have a connection. We start to make out in the back seat.
Afterwards I get out of the car and drive home. Boy did that feel amazing!
