SKIP THIS, IT ISN'T TOO IMPORTANT AND IS UNDER EDITING SO IS MESSY

I was walking down the hallway, when I was suddenly I was grabbed from the side and pulled through a door I didn't even know existed. Beth looked at me when I yelped but as she looked over my shoulder she simply grinned and waved at me before following down the corridor behind Lila who had not stopped talking at any point.

Hmphh, some friends they were! I turned around, to find myself being pulled along my none other than Blake. "What are you doing?" he turned and grinned, releasing his grip on my wrist "Goldfish, skipping one class will do you no harm, and I wanted to talk to my roommate, make sure she won't murder me in my sleep and all that" I furrowed my eyebrows at his reasoning "but surely it would have been more sensible to-" Blake cut me off "just go with it goldfish" I shut my mouth and let him pull me along, was there really any point in arguing anyway?

He dragged me through a door onto the roof garden, and I smiled as he pulled me to a bench and we sat down, pretty close due to the amount of space on there. "Let's play a game" he grinned, folding his hands in his lap. "A game?" I replied "You dragged me all the way up here away from a class that could very well change my future?" he nodded and I sighed, giving up. "What kind of game?" I asked him, in a bored tone. "Well" he began "As I said, I want to learn more about you so let's say 10 questions, alternate? I'll start" on second thoughts this might not be so bad. "Okay, let's start with the easy stuff. Why is your hair red" I grinned and put my head in my hands. "My friend said I was too uptight" he began to chuckle and I glared "either you shut up or I do, do you want to know if I'm a murderer or not". He bit his lip and tried his best to keep a straight face. I rolled my eyes and continued "so I tried to dye my hair brown for a change. But it went wrong, like, really wrong." he snorted quietly and I narrowed my eyes at him, shutting him up immediately. "So I went to my friend and she said she could fix it but only if I trusted her. Apparently, she could only dye it darker to fix it and black would make me look pale so she died it red, and now I can't get rid of it."

I finished my explanation, and turned to see him chuckling away to himself. "What's your natural colour?" he asked and I tutted "one question at a time Blakey" I scolded him, wagging my finger. He sighed with a grin "fine, fine, go on then". Hmmmm, I thought to myself, so many possibilities... "You have to tell the truth?" I looked at him and he nodded, rolling his eyes "why are you a player?" Blake coughed violently and his eyes went wide "wow you go straight to the big stuff don't you?" I smirked at him and he raised his eyebrows "to tell the truth, I don't have any tragic backstory like those cliché books girls love. It just happens to be that I've never found a girl who appeals to me. Therefore I don't have a girlfriend so that I don't hurt them. See I can be thoughtful-"

"And you don't think you're hurting them by doing what you do?" I asked incredulously. He brought his tongue between his teeth "see this is the problem, every girl gets attached. I never promise them anything, they know who I am and whatever they do is their choice. These girls are old enough to make their own decisions!" I set my jaw, angry at the sheer truth of his words. "Never mind, let's just leave it." I muttered "your turn".

"So, have you ever had a proper girlfriend?" I asked him with interest and he arched his brows with a smirk "why are you so interested?" he replied and I blushed at what he was suggesting "I- err- I think it's-ermm-my question" I mumbled to the floor, my cheeks flaming. He chuckled "yes actually, I have had a girlfriend, her name was Stella"

"Stella?" I bit back a grin, and arched my brow as he rolled his eyes at me "yes, she was my first girlfriend, and I loved her." I stared at him in shock, who would have thought it? "What happened" I asked him quietly, knowing that his answer could change my whole opinion of him. "She moved away, and we agreed that long distance relationships would probably just pull us apart, so we broke up, but we're still good friends." he grinned, and I nodded, not sure what to say. In an attempt to kill the awkwardness, I glanced at my watch, and my eyes widened "oh my god, I've already missed first two periods" I stood up in a panic and grabbed my bag, but he grabbed my arm to stop me "Goldfish, it's hardly going to kill you" I looked at him in shock and h e laughed quietly "never mind. But, I'm glad we got to know each other, you're obviously not a mass murderer, so I guess you can stay in the apartment". I grinned at his adorable stupidity, a genuine smile.

As I jogged to third period though, a thought struck me, I mean, just because he'd shown a nice side didn't mean he wasn't still a player, and players were kinda still jerks. What if I was stupid to fall for his nice act, what if this was how all of his girls started out?

I couldn't fall for it. I wouldn't! And if he was truly nice, he wouldn't mind me reassuring myself would he? My plan began to form in my head as I entered the classroom.

Oh my god. Did this boy not have anything better to do? I turned up the volume on the film, yet again, as the sounds I had scarily gotten used to came from across the hall. Yes, they infuriated me, but I was being patient. Knowing what would come from it, it was almost easy.

By the time it was completely silent, I was fighting against my eyelids, trying to hold them up. Beth shook me awake before pulling me to Lila, who had lost the battle and was snoring quietly on the end of the bed. Beth shook her, and shook her again, and Lila woke with a start. Beth's eyes widened and she quickly clapped her hand over Lila's mouth.

When we were all properly awake, we pulled on our dressing gowns and snuck into the bathroom. I shut the door as quietly as possible to muffle the sound of the tap running as Beth filled the glass with water. We snuck into Blake's room to see him cuddled up under the covers with a girl. Guess she was too tired to go home. Perhaps it would be better this way anyway. I grinned as Lila slipped her tiny hand under the covers and fidgeted around. (Not like that readers, get your mind out of the gutter) Finally she brought out Blake's hand, mouthing to me 'we never speak about what I have just touched under there'. I bit back a giggle as she handed Blake's hand to Beth, who separated the fingers and dipped one in the glass she had just got. This time, I had to bite down on my fist to keep myself from laughing. Little bit of their own medicine never hurt anybody after all.

In case you're wondering, I already knew the cheesy finger in water trick worked. Thanks to Ethan's (my oldest friend) little brother when we were younger. Story for another time. I noticed a wet patch begin to spread across the bed and I grinned before tapping Beth on the shoulder and we scuttled out as Lila replaced the hand.

When everything was done, we finally came back to my room, and barely had time to change before we crashed. The last thoughts before I dropped off were how adorable he had looked in his sleep, and what his reaction in the morning would be. Was I feeling a touch of, dare I say it? Guilt? My thoughts began to float away as I drifted into a hectic sleep.
