𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧 ; 𝘽𝙉𝙃𝘼

Chapter 12

Izuku and Mirio are a bit confused. A little girl just ran into Deku and is currently clutching onto him, afraid to let go. 

Izuku bends down and reassures the young girl. Suddenly a man emerges from the shadows. Deku and Mirio stare in shock.

The target of the agency himself, Overhaul appears from the shadows of the alley.

Overhaul tries to play it off and apologizes for the young girl. Claiming her to be his daughter. Deku looks at the little girl and she slowly mutters, "Please, please don't go."

The sentence sends shivers down Izuku's spine. "I'm sorry, but your daughter seems scared."

Once again, Overhaul plays his part, "A reaction to being scolded." He sneeringly exclaims.

Mirio then looks at Deku. 'You're making him more suspicious.' He thinks.

"Wait, but..." Izuku starts, 'This girl, she's grabbed me and won't let go.' He starts to wonder. 

"She's got bandages all over. Those are just from "playing rough"? Izuku starts to press Overhaul. 

"Eri's an exceptionally clumsy girl." Chisaki explains. 

'Her whole body's shaking, but she's not making a sound.' Izuku stares at the poor girl.

"Does that seem like it's normal to you?" Midoriya questions the man.

Overhaul looks down at Izuku, clearing getting upset. "It's dangerous to make assumptions about what's normal for other people."

Mirio, trying to play peacemaker, quickly chimes in. "Yeah, everyone's different, am I right?" 

'This is bad.' Mirio ponders, 'Chisaki obviously doesn't want us to pry. If we spook him now, he'll be even less likely to show himself. We have to let it go.'

'Togata wants us to leave, but that would only make him more suspicious. What hero would abandon a frightened child?' Izuku starts getting upset just thinking about it. 

"Tell me. What are you doing to this girl?" Despite Mirio clearly trying to avoid creating more suspicion, Izuku refuses to simply leave the girl behind.

Overhaul sighs, "You hero's really pick up on the subtlest things, don't you? Very well. This situation is embarrassing. So, I'd prefer to discuss it where we won't be overheard." Overhaul ushered the two into the alleyway.

Midoriya and Togata nod at each other, slowly following behind the masked man.

Overhaul begins to speak, "Hard to admit that you can't control your own child, but lately Eri defies me no matter what I try."

'What do you try?" Izuku wonders.

 Mirio then inserts himself, "Parenting, man. Sounds rough. That can't be easy."

Chisaki sighs once again. "Yes, children are tricky. So determined to do whatever they want..." Chisaki trails off, "That sometimes they just don't listen."

Eri notices that he was reaching for his gloved hand. She gasps before jumping out of Izuku's arms and running back to over to Chisaki.

"Oh, good. Done with your temper tantrum?" Eri slightly nods. 

Izuku looks over is suspicion. "Uh. Eri, are you sure?" Deku was skeptical. 

"She's always like this." Chisaki answers. "Sorry to involve you in our family drama. I'm sure you have better things to be doing."

"Wait!' Izuku reaches out but Mirio quickly stops him. The two watch as they walk farther into the alley. Darkness slowly engulfing them.

"Eri..." Izuku mutters. 

"We're not going after them. Didn't you notice? He was ready to get violent. That's why she went back." Mirio informs. "For now, let's report to sir."

Meanwhile, Night eye and Bubble Girl watch the Shie Hassaikai Compound. 

"They may be weaker than they used to be, but the yakuza still know how to pick a stronghold. Nice, high walls and not too many windows, right?" Bubble girl emitted. 

Suddenly, she receives a call from Togata. 

"It's Million. He says they came into contact with Chisaki." Bubble girl says quite ecstatically.

Back with the league of villains, M/n was currently with Toga. Ever since being taken and having to deal with the death of big sis Magne, M/n hasn't been himself. 

Everyone's noticed that their little ball of sunshine hasn't really been shining. The only thing M/n wanted the most was to go back to UA, to go back to the dorms and see the others.

He loved the league but ever since forming a relationship with the students, M/n's views have changed on certain things.  

The one person who's been watching M/n the most was Toga. She's seen how upset M/n's been. The poor boy tries to hide it but fails terribly. 

That's why she's come up with a plan. 

She'll make M/n go back to UA. How you ask?

Easy. She'll make Kurogiri warp him there. Sure, it'll take a bit of convincing, but she'll get her way. 

Toga tells M/n her plan and he's over the moon about it. He thanks Toga way more than she can count. When the day finally comes, she tells Kurogiri and shockingly he agrees.

Everyone says their goodbyes to M/n and soon Kurogiri warps him back to the UA building. 

(I know the whole story is getting a bit unorganized but stay with me here)

Now, M/n stands in front of the UA dorms. He quickly runs in, and everyone turns their heads from the sound.

They soon see who it is and runs to engulf M/n in a hug. He smiles, feeling the warmth, he once missed.

After all the hugs, M/n trots over to Bakugo's side. Him being the only one who didn't greet M/n. 

M/n chuckles before hugging onto the teen's legs. Bakugo scoffs before patting the younger boy's hair.

"Happy to have you back." Bakugo says. M/n smiles before looking up at him. 

"Where's Midoriya?" M/n asks, "Maybe in his room." Bakugo answers.

M/n nods before running to Midoriya's room. When he gets there, he gently knocks on the door.

After a while he hears shuffling in the room before the door opens. Deku looks down and sees M/n. He gasps before pulling him in a hug. He apologizes to M/n after what happened at the mall.

M/n forgives him, then the two go into Midoriya's room. Deku catches M/n up on everything that's been happening.

After a while M/n falls asleep. Izuku chuckles before putting the boy in his bed before exiting the room. Leaving him to sleep soundly.
