Here's my story before I moved to Tulsa... My name is Willow Simmons said that but my friends call me Will, I used to live out in the country of Windrixville before my parents lost there jobs and we were forced to leave, so we moved to Tulsa. Soon after that my parents died on a train ride when two trains crashed together causing an explosion so my parents died. I went to school with Ponyboy Curtis and Johnny Cade and two other people named Dallas Winston and Two-Bit Mathews who because my parents died I lived with. The others in the gang are Darry Curtis, Soda Curtis, Steve Randle, and Dally Winston. I was friends with most of them but Steve never really got on my good side. My descriptions: I have light brown hair that in the summer is blonde that reaches down to my waist when straightened it is naturally wavy,I have light glassy green eyes that switch back and forth from teal to light green, I am 15 years of age and 5'11 in height.
Now to the story...
It was a warm July day school ended and it was three months since my parents died and I am slowly hitting the reality as it passes by everyday hitting me less and less and soon it will be gone and I will be back yo normal, sometimes I think I can still feel them around and I talk to them somewhat and the gang looks at me like I am crazy except the Curtis' because they know what I am going through.
I took a short turn to find myself face to face with Sylvia "hey you!" She called out to me I looked at her and folded my arms staring at her caked on makeup "what do you want?" I asked "does Dally miss me?" She asked "no he is very happy without you!" I said before turning around before feeling her boney hand clench my shoulder tightly "does he have another girlfriend perhaps you?" She asked very angrily "you broke up a month ago get over it and you'll just two time him again and also I am not his girlfriend!" I yelled in her face "oh really!" She asked angrily before slugging me hard in the face "is that the best you got?" I asked before hitting her back and walked away and entered the Curtis house to see a darkness and I could not see anything not even my hands in front of my face I heard a flick and saw a great big banner with the words written "HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILL!" Spread across it then a pop sounded and I saw confetti "HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILL!" I saw all the gang stand up happily then it hit me I just then I am now 16! But my parents weren't here to see me now "how do you like your "sweet" 16?" Asked Dally sarcastically "it's good" I replied "good I put absolutely no effort into it" he said chuckling "sounds like you, oh and Sylvia is still not over you and was about to beat me up thinking I was your girlfriend" I said "nah, your to to tuff" he replied winking "shut up!" I said slugging him in the arm "well any presents,cake or no?" I asked putting my hands on my hips "oh yea here" Two-Bit said handing me a MP3 player "wow how did you get this?" I asked "you know my number one talent got it from a gas station" he smiled and I hugged him tightly "here" John said handing me a wrapped gift and I opened it to find a pair of earring shaped like horse shoes because I love horses "thank you so much!" I hugged him tightly as well "here" Dally muttered handing me a switchblade coloured back and was 5 inches "thanks" I said hugging him and catching him by surprise "um here" Soda said handing me a small gift wrapped I quickly opened it throwing the paper on the ground it was a notebook with my name on it "how did you afford this!" I gasped "it was cheaper than you would expect" he chuckled "hope you like it" Pony said handing me a book titled "lost and found" the book I always wanted "thank you!" I said hugging him "your welcome" he said smiling "here you needed a new one" Darry joked handing me a new book bag "thanks!" I said hugging him and he squished the daylights out of me "uh..Darry....can't breath" I chocked out "oh uh sorry" he apologized looking down "hey it's ok to squish the birthday girl" Two said squeezing me tightly. After that Steve handed me a small gift and I opened and not to my surprise it was a wrench "thanks" I said before hugging him "your welcome" he said hugging back "well what about cake?" I asked holding my hands out like what the heck! "Oh yea we made some for you..." Said Pony and Soda walking into the kitchen and later returning with a three layer chocolate cake "oooh yum!" I exclaimed rubbing my hands before blowing out all sixteen candles and grabbing a piece off with my hands "thanks you guys this is the best birthday ever!" I exclaimed stuffing my face with cake "you say that now and you will never stop!" Laughed Two-Bit as Steve laughed along then we all followed in...
