Diabolic (H.S)

Chapter one

"Hurry up Alex." Adam shouts towards me. He glares before turning away, I am the last one standing outside of the old chain link fence. Chills ran up my backbone as I gaze at the abandoned amusement park on the other side. It's really creepy, I can see pointy branches from the trees with no leaves on them, I also can see an old rusty yellow ticket booth with black graffiti writing on it saying,

'Enter and you will die.'

Dead leafs sweep across the cracked pavement as a blast of wind blows them. The sun is starting to set which isn't helping my fear.

"Come on Alex... What are you waiting for?" Rachel said with desperation in her eyes.

"This is illegal... We can get caught and we will be in serious trouble." I say to them pretending like I care about the law.

"Rachel you never told me that your friend was a coward." Zac laughs towards Rachel. Her face became flushed and she started to feel embarrassed by me.

Rachel has had a crush on Zac since she was 15. She was over the moon when he invited her to hang out with him, but she wasn't so thrilled when she found out that Adam was coming too, she begged me to come with her and now I'm standing like an idiot on the other side of the fence.

"Hurry up or we will leave without you." Adam cockily say's to me.

I don't want to go in there, but I don't want to be left standing here all alone, I look at the hole that Adam created in the fence with a bolt cutter. It's big enough to fit my full body through it.

"Fine," I huff as I pop my leg through the hole. "I can't believe that I am even doing this." I push my body through and I'm on the other side with the others. We are surrounded by trees.

"Come on then." Zac say's, smiling as he lifts his right arm around Rachel's shoulder, she looks taking back by his actions. The blush on her cheeks could light up Britain.

Right now she looks stunning. She's wearing a short white summer dress and high heels. She looks like she's going to a night club or a party not an abandoned amusement park. Then you get me wearing worn-out jeans and a black T-shirt covered up by a warm jacket.

I genuinely don't know what she see's in him. Rachel is beautiful with her long blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes. Zac on the other hand has shaggy blond hair, a lanky figure and I could play dot to dot with the pimples on his face. Well love is blind, I suppose. I reckon they will make a wonderful couple and I know that she really likes him.

Zac moves along with Rachel in front. Me walking in the middle and Adam behind me.

We all walk forwards and every time I take a step Adam stands on the backrest of my shoe so I trip up.

I turn and shout really loud, "Quit it you d*ck." My voice echoes in the woods. The crows started to flap away; making a really loud sound, I leap at the noise because It scared the living sh*t out of me. Adam starts laughing at me, He's getting very annoying.

When Adam first came to a Castle hill every girl in the school had a massive crush on him, well, most of them still do, I'm not going to lie, I did like him at one point in my life, but then he set out to become a d*ck towards me. Then my feelings towards him had changed. Now I don't like him at all. I don't understand why girls go crazy over him, I mean, sure he's good looking and all with his dark brown hair and perfect blue eyes, but on the inside he's a complete monster and he also treats women like sh*t.

"Come on you two stop messing around." Zac say's to us and then he gives Adam a serious face.

We all move closer to the ticket booth. Right next to the graffiti I could see speckles of dark red.
